This is not a good basketball team folks. Defensive effort has again been awful, shot selection on offense has been poor and the seniors are flat out killing the team.
 

I $%^ing hate pulling a key player with two fouls to 'save' him for a game we are now out of.
 


So many bad things that half. Andre can't shoot. Morris will shoot anything. Did Walker have 4 turnovers? Nobody seemed to even care.
 


58 % for Ohio State? Give me a break. Gophers don't even want to play any defense.
 

Pitino's honeymoon should officially be over. This team stinks and he's getting outcoached every single game.
 



This is on coaching too. No way you should've left Hollins on an island with Russell. This D scheme hasn't worked the last three games.
 

Minnesota led Purdue by 11 at the half. But the Boilers are a bunch of tough SOB's, and they came back. Show me something, Gophers.
 

My guess is that the locker room is a bit toxic right now not only just now at halftime but overall. Andre is way out of sorts, we have had the defections and there is no zip within the squad. Richard has a mess on his hands and seems over his head.
 




This is a big test for Pitino. This could spiral out of control in the locker room quickly...there is NOT a leader on this team that I can see. Last year, even when Austin was sucking about this time, he WAS the leader out there. Don't see anyone taking that role now.
 


This team is looking so pathetic that I'm seriously wondering if Pitino was a good hire.
 

I wasn't on board with calling this a must win, long season, but if we don't start playing drastically different. Gophers are in HUGE trouble.
 

My face hurts.

Little Dre could stay in the game if he'd stop getting stupid fouls 60 feet from the basket. Gotta be smarter than that or you sit.
 

This is turning Monson like fast. Recruiting and on the court.
 


Would be a completely different story if infelt like Andre Hollins gave a sh1t that an 18 ur old kid is punking him on national tv. So disappointed in this squad. I'm not giving Pitino a pass but if that's what he's working with. Can you blame him?

If next years recruits are watching this, how committed will they remain?
 


Absolutely furious right now. Mo Walker already has 3 turnovers and Andre Hollins has been a complete disaster on both ends of the floor. These are two of our Seniors who we should be counting on to lead us. The only thing I blame Pitino for is sitting DeAndre after he picked up his second foul. This team just isn't good enough to win without him playing huge minutes. If he fouls out, he fouls out, but we absolutely sucked after he went to the bench. It's amazing that Mathieu still insists on picking up ticky tack fouls when he knows how important he is to this team.

If this season is over after game 3, it's going to be a brutal winter.

I knew it was coming after that foul and just shook my head. It was tied 23-23. You knew he was going to pull Mathieu and our offense would fall off a cliff. It happens all the time.
