This play calling is atrocious. You have a 6-5 receiver.

Have we even thought about a jump ball since Shortell's fail to McDonald??

A worthless FG now. Kick one earlier and its still a one poss. game. Terrible play calling and decision making by the staff today.
 

Need to work on the redzone offense. I know we haven't had much need to practice it the last 4 years - so probably time to start working on that in practice....
 

Down by 8 if kick the field goal instead of the fake and we are in this game, instead I'm drinking heavier with friends waiting for the hockey game
 

Defense needs to make a play. Could go for a pick 6 right now, but would settle for a sack-strip.

Instead of throwing to Gray in the corner we throw into coverage or run up the middle - playing right into Michigan's strengths. Terrible play calling in the red zone.
 


We need the defense to come up big. 3 and out would be great, turnover even better.

Maybe even try a quick slant in to Gray or a bubble screen to gray or a quick out to a TE. Get the ball outside to a play maker (a la Percy Harvin)

We keep talking abut how young the O line is yet are asking them to get a push against a very solid Michigan D-line in the red zone.

The only real coaching decision Hoke has made was playing Gardner.

Don't say that.... I got attacked by Dr. Don the expert, and westcoast for saying something similar to that.
 




Gardner making miracle passes all day - Nelson unable to be a playmaker - that's the difference.
 


Grey may be a better receiver, but Gardner is definitely a better QB.
 






I ask this with all sincerity, when is the last time a 50/50 call went the Gopher's way?
 

Some of our strategic maneuvers will be criticized (and rightfully), but Michigan just has better athletes than we do at this point.
