*** OFFICIAL GOPHERS/LEATHERNECKS IN-GAME THREAD ***

Honestly I did. I expected the Gophers to come out hot. Maybe I had irrational expectations.

Your expectation is spot on, unfortunately the offense just can't seem to ever come out of the gate firing on all cylinders.

Gotta loosen up the D with a couple Nelson keepers on the read-option. That's what has worked the first two games.

Needing to loosen up the defenses of UNLV, New Mexico State and Western Illinois is more than a little troubling.

Thank goodness someone can run the ball!

Ok, I'm convinced... we'll be lucky to win 2 B10 games.

Not good when a crappy FCS team is giving others the blueprint on how to beat the Gophers. Embarrassing so far. They better get their act together quick.

Embarrassing is the best way to describe this game so far. I actually feel bad for the players. I have not at all been impressed with limegrover's play calling.

Why, they still scored the touchdown? Now it would have been something if they would have stopped them on 4th down.

We can kiss our ESPN spot for next week goodbye if we don't win...

This. A lot of it has to do with the way the schedule sets up, but yeah, this team has looked fairly pedestrian throughout these preseason games.

Wilson appeared to be MIA in that drive. Weisman will be licking his chops when he sees that film.

Has anyone ever been impressed by Limegrover's play calling?

this offense is becoming very boring to watch. sad to say. there is no imagination. no misdirection. no screens. no way we pick up causal fans with this offense. the only gopher fans are going to be die hard fans.

Our OL are getting manhandled by their DL. Of course that doesn't change a thing to Limegrover... run, run, pass, punt.
