It was more like 2 seconds left it was a cluster after Dre's brick

I don't get my indoor practice facility. Wahhh. I got shouted down when i came here and suggested a new arena would be nice. Wahhh. My players don't play right . Wahhh.
There is one guy who quit on this program and hopefully he can watch the season on tv next year .
 

Do we practice to play like this. I think even the (It,s not Tubby,s fault guys) would say it is time to change this. Tubby should take high road and retire. We had to let the run go to 19-2 to call the timeout. Where is the offence. Four straight times run the shot clock down with an off balance poor shot.

You can not like it Don but Moses is right. Tubby coaches gutless ball. Period. Just awful. The game isn't over but that first half was about as bad as it gets.
 

I know it seems to work so well this year might as well keep going to the well until they stop it. I am sure our coach will adjust that when we try to feed the post that ILL has two feet in the lane and get some movement on offense. I know spencer always said that they have to just make shots but every shot we get is a deperation look or the wrong guy open. We are the easy team in the big ten to scout.

the funny part is we were moving very well early and then austin picked up his 2nd foul and then mbakwe was called for that charge and the wheels fell off. we arent out of this but if you dont have fun watching the gophers turn it off. the big east tourney is on espn right now. a lot of game left and im not convinced illinois is going to coast in the second half. im excited to see what team shows up in the second half

i also think illinois should be fearful, they should be up at least 20 imo and they couldnt pull away, things can change really fast, im still hoping for the best

If Hollins or Mbakwe had picked up their third fouls, I guarantee you would have been screaming how stupid it was to keep/put them back in.
 

I think the saddest thing I can say is....I don't even have the anger or passion anymore to post or comment on this first half. I've just rolled over with apathy. Which is apropos, since our team has seemed to do the same.
 




Tubby again says he doesn't like our defense. What about our offense. The guy really is clueless.

This team cannot afford to have Trevor on the bench. Totally different team with him on the floor. Austin too.....today anyway. Defensively and offensively

Now this I will agree with. When I was a HS Boys BB coach and one of my studs picked up his second, early, I challenged him. " Play now, or play later. It is up to you. If ya get #3, ya play later, it's that simple."
 

This team should press full court every game the rest of the season.

They need an attacking mentality every second they are on the court.
 

Needed them out there after going down on the 19-2 run
