I think i'd rather be an 11 or 12 than 8/9/7/10.

Don't get me wrong, I have my doubts we could beat anyone right now, but if we want to make a Sweet 16, a 12 might be our best path.
 

I hope to see white smoke from the stovepipe at Bierman next week.

Austin fouling out with 35 minutes left at NW (or whatever it was) made him overreact to fouls for the rest of the season.
 

I believe there is a legit chance that the Gophers are out of the Big Dance. Certainly the top 4 seeds are in. Michigan is in if they beat Penn State. Illinois deserves to go in ahead of Minnesota as the 6th team, having just beaten Mn in the rubber game. Will the B1G possibly get 7 teams? I don't think so and if Iowa beat NW and MSU we need 8.

A very sad year with this level of talent. Very disappointing season.

Michigan is in if they lose by 50 to Penn State.

Yes, and it is deserved as the Big Ten is widely considered the best bball conference. The Gophers have beaten three of the four top four seeds in the Big Ten with only one game against the other.

ummm what??? the BIG will get 7 teams no matter what. The only issue will arise if Iowa goes all the way to the finals and makes a case to be in ahead of the Gophers. Then it will be decision time on if they bring MN in as well.

Parski1 I am so sick of you standing up for Tubby day after day. Do you know anything about the x's and o's of basketball. His comments pregame and post game, his offense and defense he keeps running. The lack of out of bounds plays. The players that transfer out of here. How much sand is in your ears, because your head is so deep in the sand. Hollins didn't draw up the out of bounds play to receive the ball on the side line, your pal Tubby did. I really wish you could come up with a real argument in favor of Tubby instead of your constant drivel.

I agree, the committee doesn't like teams that finish under .500 in conference play, it is very rare that one gets in. Personally I think my blood pressure will be better served if the DON'T make it.
