***OFFICIAL GOPHERS BUCKEYES IN-GAME THREAD***

*HAVE* to score some points here... we've already been fortunate with some crucial turnovers.

players just have to stay composed...

Now the block in the back was a bad call.

Stop trying to pass. Ever! It never works. It's stupid.

We've got what got in this boat. Until we start getting better recruits which will come woth more wins, we have to live with the here and now.

much like the words of Donald Rumsfeld "you go to war with the army you have---not the army you might want or wish to have at a later time."

Nothing good comes from passing. Feed Cobb! It's our only chance.

Ouch...Sucks to say, but we had many opportunities to get it right the last two drives but are getting unlucky and/or are just shy of executing where we need to be.

It's amazing how deflated the team got after that FG attempt hit the goal posts. Everyone is just hanging their heads, no energy. The curse of Gary Anderson lives...transported a couple of miles across the Mississippi River.

Pretty disappointing play calling from Limegrover this game.

if we survive this quarter NOT down 3 scores... we have a chance...

Pretty disappointing play calling from Limegrover this game.

I'm one of Limegrover's biggest critics here...he's actually calling a fair game, mixing it up pretty well. You realize who we're playing, and in what weather conditions, right? Their huge advantages in athleticism probably have a lot to do with the current score.

So you're saying a double reverse WR pass or multiple Liedner throws on one set of downs are good play calls against a team as athletic as OSU or in this weather. Yeah.. okay.

if we lose im not putting this game on ANYONE particular (outside of some last minute Illinois type play-calling) because both sides are calling good plays & TAKING RISKS & that's how you beat superiorly talented teams like OSU & anyone who followed Kill at NIU knows that's how they were always competitive against teams with superior talent...

not mad at this game at all... even though we've been burnt the players are out there giving it their all, the coaches are mixing it u... win or lose what more could you ask for out of your team?

They're stacking the box big time, we have to have a little success in the air.

You must have missed Williams get behind the defenders on the WR pass play. He fell down. You can't honestly believe the Gophers can simply overpower OSU and not try to fool them. Even OSU has to try to "fool" the Gophers to score...and they are the ones holding a huge advantage in athleticism.

The only time we've moved the ball all game is when we just ran the ball. We've had one good pass play. I can't imagine that our success depends on a pass game that can't complete anything.
