***OFFICIAL COLORADO AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I'll be there, taking my nephew and hitting up bars

He went to NDSU so is a NDSU fan, but he follows gophers a bit.

Is there any bar you can get into if you show up 2 hours early to the game? I know there are very few options these days. Have pretty much been relegated to Alumni Center or sometimes just MyBurger for options lately. (not talking about off campus options...looking for something right on campus)

Stub & Herbs is a good option. Food can be slow so order early if you want to eat. Lots of beer on tap and I think they have the parking lot open for drinking as well.

Sally's, BWW...Malcolm Yards will be open, as will Surly and the Whiskey place over there. 6-7 minute walk to the stadium. Townhall at Seven Corners. Or bring some beer to share and join a random tailgate.

I've never been able to get into Sally's or Sterbs 2 hours before game starts. Usually long lines out the door. Other options too far...(I park at Oak Street).

Sterb's should have the parking lot closed for outdoor music and drinking (did for last week's game). BWW is right across from the stadium and it might have the parking lot closed for music, food and drink. I think there's a bar in the hotel too.

I'm looking for a restaurant where we can sit down and eat food...I think outside at Sterb's is standing only? And not sure if you can get food out there.

The Applebee's in the hotel was closed last year. Does anyone know if something replaced it? Not that I was ever excited about going to Applebee's but it at least was somewhere to eat and get a drink and helped thin the crowd at the other places.

Several years ago my go-to was Campus Pizza but that has been gone a while now. Was also a huge fan of Big Ten (RIP).

My one experience at Malcom Yards was before a Gopher hockey game last year (the one that we beat Wisconsin 8-0) and it was so packed in there we couldn't find a table to sit and eat our food. We walked back and forth for 10 minutes looking for a table but couldn't get one so we were just stuck standing and eating our food. Similar scene before Gopher football?

Tea House is great Chinese. Block east of Stadium on University. Hotel restaurant is the Beacon.

saw this thread and just for a moment thought I had somehow forgotten what day it was. I actually had to check to see if it was Saturday.

now, it's like I have a whole extra day to use. Let's see.....I could do something productive.........nah!

How early did you need to get there? I've been to sterbs many times but it's always too full even 2 hours before a game.

WTF is going on here?!? I wake up on a Friday morning to this? Sigh…you better not have spread bad juju for this weekend. A loss is on you.

That being said:

GET’ER DONE FLECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Stan needs to start a thread before the game tomorrow

Stan needs to start a thread before the game tomorrow
But we have already started the big push.....what if starting a new game thread disrupts the push and causes us to have to restart the push? Now I still don't know what we are pushing or where we are pushing it to but I don't want to risk it.......no.....better to live with this thread and make it work.....should the team falter tomorrow we will all know who was at fault.
