The Class of 2027 recruitment has begun!
Bring them all.. need all the old Vikings players.Gophers offer Donovan McNabb's kid, who goes to the same HS as Fitzgerald and Sharper's kids and we've offered all 3.
And thankfully he's not a QB prospect. Still scarred by his dad's days as a Viking. I know he had some good years before the Vikings but it was tough to watch here. Not holding out much hope for McNabb, Jr. He wasn't "blessed" to receive the offer.
Somebody has him ranked as a 5 star already. That means we're out. No 5 star will never come here. Why would they?
Go Gophers!!
Iowa has gotten some before. I’d assume it’d have to be a five star from Minnesota for us to land one at this point though, which we see like once every twenty years.Somebody has him ranked as a 5 star already. That means we're out. No 5 star will never come here. Why would they?
He has a big time offer list already, but haven't seen any rating from any online service. Who's giving him a 5 star?Somebody has him ranked as a 5 star already. That means we're out. No 5 star will never come here. Why would they?
Mr. Boston gets 5 stars and he was often offered to me.He has a big time offer list already, but haven't seen any rating from any online service. Who's giving him a 5 star?
According to Nolan O'Hara from SI, Rivals list him as 5 star "potential". I've never seen that before. He has a big time offer list already, but haven't seen any rating from any online service. Who's giving him a 5 star?
Have we ever really had a true five-star athlete at Minnesota? Bronko Nagurski?Iowa has gotten some before. I’d assume it’d have to be a five star from Minnesota for us to land one at this point though, which we see like once every twenty years.
Koi sure performed like a 5-star.Have we ever really had a true five-star athlete at Minnesota? Bronko Nagurski?
There was no ranking system back then.Have we ever really had a true five-star athlete at Minnesota? Bronko Nagurski?
I knew that before you brought it up. I appreciate your willingness to inform nonetheless. I don't believe we have ever recruited a five star. It certainly wasn't Clint Brewster. There was no ranking system back then.

Brandon Owens. He was a beast. Career ended on a hit with Michael Robinson. We had a safety from Florida who was a 5 star on Scout, back in the day which long pre-dated 247. Kid was a baller too but got hurt. Trying to remember his name. And Seantrell Henderson (if I have it right) was a 5 star local kid from Cretin, but he went elsewhere. Looks like he did get a couple years in the NFL.
I thought Washburn RB Jeff Jones had a 5-star ranking at one of the recruiting sites.Have we ever really had a true five-star athlete at Minnesota? Bronko Nagurski?
Hayo Carpenter. He didn't pan out. And Jeff Jones was 5 star on at least one service... Crazy Maroney was only a 4 star.Who was the juco reciever we brought in. He was a 5*.... I think it was in the Mason years

I felt bad for Owens, but I alway thought he was going for the ESPN highlight reel on that hit and could have simply pushed Robinson out of bounds. Tragic in a football sense because Owens looked like the real deal.Brandon Owens. He was a beast. Career ended on a hit with Michael Robinson.
Brandon Owen’s?Have we ever really had a true five-star athlete at Minnesota? Bronko Nagurski?
