Official 2025 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Considering our remaining needs, LB Gabe Powers would've really been a nice get but what Fleck and his staff have put together for an incoming transfer class without losing much has been tremendous.

Great job, gentlemen.
Transfer season is far from over. We could still add guys between now and the start of the season and we will almost certainly see guys transfer out after the bowl game and again after spring ball.

Side note - removed Cole Cabana from the incoming list as it appears he will no longer be coming here.

McWilliams to Louisville. Still expecting to see some additional movement after the bowl game before it gets quiet heading into the spring window.

Interesting - our second p4 transfer
Just a guess - but when he saw a few WR's transfer in here I am sure he was certain he would have been fairly far down the depth chart. Not that we have much high end quality returning on the roster though...

I didn't see TE Geers on the returning list. What is his status? Wondering as we have TE Bibers from the portal coming in with just Kallerup departing. .

I was wondering the same thing. I like this kid and think he has a high upside. Are there any other impact players that have not "announced" their DTA agreements?

In regards to the returning list....wouldn't put a ton of stock in that being totally accurate. Maxy provided a list and I have added a couple of people but there definitely could be players missing from it.

That said, no clue in regards to Geers.

Back to Ohio? That’s where he transferred from to us.
That would appear to be the case. He knows he can succeed at the MAC level and I guess they are willing to take him back after a year away. Hopefully it works out well for him next year.

WR Frosh TJ McWilliams has entered the portal.
That’s unfortunate, tough for young WRs to crack the lineup here as typically we don’t see a ton of production beyond the third wr, or even the second many years. Nice to see Nuke flash in the bowl a little bit, and Lanier was open for a td but Brosmer missed him. Brockington could see an expanded role if he can stay healthy. Driver could see his role increase as well. Tracy should be able to provide something immediately coming off an all Mac season. I view Coleman and Williams as wild cards. So I guess while I don’t love losing McWilliams it looked pretty unlikely that he was going to have a major role in the immediate future.

McWilliams won the heisman for me in EA this year and Wittke came in second. Basically 99 speed running go routes was unstoppable. Hope it works well for him at Louisville and think our wide receiver room and passing game next year should be good.

Will be interesting to see if anyone jumps in the portal today now that the game is over.

They only have one portal transfer player visiting. Maurice Westmoreland a DE from UTEP.

I hope we get Westmoreland. Watched a little of his highlights, seems like a player. Coach Debo enthusiastic young coach, can relate to the players, help us recruit.
