Visited with Riley Mahlman 6‘8“ 275 OT Lakeville, MN at Edgewood HS before the Michigan/Wisconsin game yesterday morning. Later that day he committed to the Badgers. Burns tweeted out that Seth Green's twin brothers were on campus today for a visit. I feel hopeful that as wide receivers they will choose the U
 

4-Star QB commit Athan Kaliakmanis broke his collarbone. Non-throwing. Will miss the remainder of his junior season.

Bad for him, but in a weird way, this could be good for the Gophers -- fewer folks from other schools will be showing up to try to 'crut him to their team.

I think he is going to be good enough where the cruting will happen regardless. But I like your positive spin.
 

Hopefully he recovers quickly and can play next season during his senior year

Wow, there's a lot of time until 2021 kids sign on the dotted line, but it's sort of exciting to see this!
 

Surely, Latham’s dad must have some other way to contact Fleck besides Twitter?

I assume this is John Alt's son ---- his other son, Mark, played defense for the hockey team and is currently in the AHL. I wonder sharing an alma mater with your brother or father has more pull (if any) in his decision.

I’ll be shocked if anymore studly pass-catching TE (assuming he is given his lineage) come to the U until Kirk shows a willingness to involve the TE in the pass game more than once or twice each Saturday.

I don't know if it's been posted, but Seth Green has 2 brothers that are 4* receivers in the 2021 class.
 

so the guy's name is Kpai and he's a LB.

That is tailor-made for some play-by-play fun. "Running play up the middle.....Kpai.... Kpow! Runner is stopped in his tracks."
