Apparently Andrew Bone (Alabama Rivals guy I believe) has reported that he "may" have committed to Alabama after the offer. Disappointing if true.
 

With all due respect to JC Hassenauer, how do we know he was offered by Bama? Is there an article or something, other than this 24-7 dude's tweet? Not doubting it, just curious as to where this was reported?

JC had been to an Alabama Elite camp last year and they were extremely interested in him. I heard that he had a personal meeting with Saban at the camp and he indicated that if he could put on some weight that an offer was forthcoming. They were very impressed with his footwork. Not good news for the U. I heard that he was extremely impressed and that this might be his dream offer.

That's not really a gut feeling. When a Miami kid pays his own way to visit Minneapolis and only has non-BCS offers otherwise, I'd say it's more than likely he's coming here.

We aren't bringing him in. He's paying his own way. He can (and probably will) still take an official on the school's dime in the fall.

It seems like Connor has been up here at least a half dozen times. I'll be very surprised if he doesn't commit by the end of the summer.

I'm starting to believe that I'll be surprised if he does. He has had every reason/opportunity to commit thus far, and hasn't. That tells me that he's looking for reasons to not commit here, one of which could be an offer that he's waiting on. He has an offer from Oklahoma and from every AQ school in TX except the Longhorns. My guess is that he ends up at A&M unless Texas offers, in which case he'll end up there.

I always assumed he'd end up here, but the longer he waits the worse it is for us imo.

Would he commit to Texas when they already have one of the nation's top ten centers committed? I know one could switch positions, but maybe he doesn't want to?

I guess it depends on the blocking scheme he ends up playing in, but he's already enormous for an NFL center, let alone a college or HS center.

If it was October or November I'd agree with you, but it's still only June. If I were him, and big brother just got up here last week, I'd wait a few months to see how he likes it before deciding to move across the country for 4 years.

What other offensive lineman have we offered besides Ragnow, Hassenauer, and Mayes? I'm starting to wonder who our fall back options could be if we end up not getting any of those 3, which is very possible.
 

According to J.C.'s coach he has NOT committed to Alabama as of yet, per Gophers Now twitter.
