NW

Purdue also started a true freshman QB on the road yesterday.
“On the road” with about 20,000 Northwestern fans, max, is not really that scary. Most of Purdue’s success against the Gophers was on the ground anyway, so having a running QB unexpectedly in for Purdue probably helped them against Northwestern, aside from the end of the game when they had to move down the field quickly and then threw an INT.

We were in Playoff contention going into the last regular-season game of the year in 2019. And finished 11-2.

When has NW done that?
Yes pretending like you are going to the CFP > than actually playing the B1G title game.

Maybe not, but only because the voters aren't enlightened enough to understand the importance of time of possession and shortening the game.
But what a great recruiting pitch. Come to Minnesota and you’ll play less football in shorter games.

Totally agree the gophers have had a better season more recently. 2019 was awesome for the club. And in the biggest game against the biggest rival they got pounded at home. They were just good enough in 19 to lose to there 2 biggest rivals at the end of the season. Special yea but the finish left something to be desired, bowl win was huge. None of this matters but as long as we are going off topic on my original post about northwestern winning the west title I thought we could cover the end of 19 also.

Not sure what the point of this post is. Gophers lost to both of these teams
An illustration what NIL can do for your team NW obviously has a huge NIL mechanism if they are winning and beating teams they should beat.

The difference between a 10-2 season and a 4-8 is about 1 possession a game in this years big ten

So ywah

Having more good players in the field would help
