Norwood Teague: “I’d love to play North Dakota State"

And you can definitely tell you haven't been here long when you call the precious Gophers Gopher God's team. Dude slobs over the Huskers if you couldn't tell...but then again the attention to detail isn't exactly something to be expected of a NDSU fan/grad.

You right, I'm not here that much.

And if the roles were reversed, if it was the Gophers coach, the local media would have hounded him out the door, and you would be on a high horse trolling.

You are wrong there. Until I read this stuff about Bohl on this thread, I had no clue about the details of what he allegedly did in Nebraska. I had only heard little snidbits here and there, but no details. Quite frankly, I could give a rip about what he did, or didn't do, 20 years ago. I'm pretty sure when GT hired him he had no idea about Bohl's past indiscretions as well. What do you high and mighty Gopher fans expect our AD to do, after the fact? Fire a winning coach because he cheated on his wife back in his Nebraska days? Really? Give me a break, in todays society, with the divorce rate hovering around 50%, infidelity is hardly shocking news. I'm sure if some tabloid reporter did some digging, he/she could dig up some mud on your staff as well. I say; "big fricken deal." You guys need to get over yourselves.

Like I said earlier, winning brings a lot of forgiveness.

You're missing the point. I actually don't care what Bohl did or didn't do. I was simply pointing out that if the roles were reversed, Bison fans would be trolling about it. Winning may bring forgiveness, but only from your own fans.

Not in this state. ie. Clem Haskins

How's the view from on top of that high horse of yours?

Give me a break, if Bohl was leading your precious Gophers to conference titles, BCS Bowl victories, or, heaven forbid, national championships, I think the moral high ground upon which you stand would seem to be a little lower.

With winning come forgiveness. Maybe someday you'll know what I am talking about, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I we're you.

You don't have to be very high up on moral ground to look down on someone cheating on their wife, while pregnant with twins. It doesn't get much worse than that.

Bohl is a creep but I doubt he filmed his affair on his pregnant wife but it definitely happened. He sets a terrible example of what a man should be. I wouldn't never recommend any kid play for and receive guidance from someone with such poor judgement and morals.

There is only One who sits in judgement of man. Let he who is withour sin cast the first stone. How can you see the spec in another mans eye, when you cannot see past the log in your own eye. Let not one man speak ill of another, for God will judge.

Like I said, his past deeds have likely changed him. He has done a lot of good at NDSU for young men there. You should keep your opinions to yourself, unless you have never made a mistake. It would likely be good for you to concern yourself with your own actions.

That is not entirely true. He was offered late and wanted to commit but his dad wanted him to visit Old Dominion. That couldn't take place before signing day so we moved on. There is no doubt he wanted to sign here but his parents wouldn't sign the LOI.
It really doesn't matter, as ODU is plaing as an Independent this year before they move to C-USA. They might have been an FCS school when he committed, but he'll play at the top division.

Yeah, nice plan. Just keep your head in the sand.

I think you need to bold the little part of your moniker, since you will always be considered a cute little school, and nothing more.

When are they going to announce the new nickname?

An interesting thing up here regarding NDSU and UND. NDSU Bison have a bison mascot named Thundar. There are a lot of UND fans who want the new nickname to be the UND Thunder. Anything for a fight between the two is fine with me.

And yet we still managed to beat the U the last two times we met.

"Cute" seems to be working for us.

The Gophers beat Alabama last time we played them. So, I guess we are a better program and should play them every year in the National Championship.

If I ever get to the point where I'm joining another team's message board in order to boast about the results of a sports event that I had absolutely nothing to do with, I'll do the honorable thing and swallow the business end of a shotgun.
