Weird game...first 5 minutes, like the last game, we looked like we were going to get blown out. Austin hit three 3's in a row and we have played pretty well since.

Another slow start. Shot way too many threes, but then got hot at the end of the half beyond the arc, the zone opened up and we are playing very well right now.
 

I feel so damn bad for Malik. If you just chuck it in the direction of the rim, a shot is going to fall eventually. But not for him.

GIW pointed it out first, but yeah, it is. My limited basketball knowledge prior to seeing a couple shots from that point was that every zone has a weakness, and we didn't need to be jacking up threes the way we were.
 



Just can't have Malik out on the court. He's completely lost his confidence and doesn't play strong defense. Bad line up with Malik, McNeil and Buggs in the game.

I know he's streaky, but this is unreal how bad of a stretch he's had in the last part of the year. It's partly bad shots, yes, but ever since the 8/12 performance against Nebraska, he's like 8 for 50...and four of those were at Wisconsin.

I might have a better 3 pt % than Malik during this stretch. I base this on the three games of H-O-R-S-E I play each year.
 

Mo has been good on the boards tonight, as he should with his size advantage.
 




We gotta close it out. I like the TO, stop any momentum early.
 




Pitino can deal with missed shots...missed defensive assignments...he flips. He gets it.

Didn't think I'd ever say this, but Mav >> Dre right now. Mav should be in, Dre sitting. He's doing awful on D, and not making plays on O.

No. Dre has 6 assists tonight and can actually handle the ball. Mathieu has had some foul trouble and needs breaks, Dre Hollins is the only guy who can run the point when Mathieu is out.

Dre has been critical to the ball distribution on offense.
