What a year for Rick. Second year coaching, first year in a major conference, and he wins the NIT. Would have been nice to make the NCAA's but I'll take the NIT championship over just making the NCAA's
 

I don't give a crap that it's only the NIT, I'm proud as hell of this team for this season and this championship! Here's to better things to come next year and the future as a result. Congratulations to coach Pitino and the players, especially Austin, who went out a winner.
 


This means we're guaranteed a Sweet Sixteen next year, right?
 

Great win against a good team. And, except for a bad stretch early in the second half with 4 turnovers in 7 trips, they played very well in winning it.
 

Love seeing 31 year old Richard Pitino best 73 year old hall of famer Larry Brown.

Since we beat everyone not invited to the NCAA tourney, I would like to label this gopher team The Champion of the Snuffed Teams!

We can officially call this a successful season!

The way my living room was yelling and on the edge of their seat you didn't know this was the NIT. So proud of this team and love our Coach
 


Great game!!! I'm pissed the broadcast faded out to the 3 Point Contest. Wanted to see Austin hold a trophy. Maybe it will be frontpage in one of the fishwraps (joke)
