Boeheim has an older daughter (probably late 40s) from his first marriage. He got divorced and re-married his current wife (Juli) in the early 90s and they had three kids together. The two boys both played D1 basketball (Jimmy at Cornell, may still have 1 year left and Buddy, currently starring for the Orange)

The media NEVER forgets. Fans may forget or were too young, but when the opportunity for some muckraking arises wishing the media to ignore it is like expecting a crackhead to pass on a hit.

If it's Musselman, the fight will be reborn.
If it was Dutcher, the Wisconsin incident would come up.
If Richard ever goes to Louisville, Ricks sins will be on him.

It would get mentioned at his hire and be over within a day. The idea that they would constantly bring it up and it would hamper his tenure is silly.
 

There is going to be a lot of opportunity for a new head coach to bring in transfers and immediately jump up in the B1G standings next year.

The B1G was awful this season, and a number of the top teams are losing a lot. Very exciting.

What's disappointing about that was we were SOOOOO far from competing in the Big Ten this year. Goes to show just how far away we are from competing for anything outside their conference.

Actually, we were competing very well 4-4 against a schedule of something like 9 straight ranked teams...then we were horrible from then on.

In theory they were very good wins but those teams are all showing that they may not be as good as everyone thought...plus like you said, after that we were so so terrible anyway. 13th in a conference that may not have a team in the sweet 16 isn't very good.

Some of you here losing steam- we have gone from maybe Mark Few is coming to the U to we are getting a has been/never was. Chins up this thing ain’t over.
 


I don't see the Gophers hiring a coach before both Smith & Gates are interviewed.

I say Wednesday is the day.
 


Yeah, if Smith is Coyle's guy, they can't wait too long to offer with Utah sniffing around.
