People report a lot of stuff that isn't true, Norwood and Shaka don't have a great relationship as reported. If Norwood gets his #1 guy everybody will forget about Shaka though.

Also, I don't doubt Teague will get some who the vast majority of us will say that's a good hire. We'll find something about him that says he's ok.

Nah, there are plans to build a brand new Minneapolis, which will keep the U in Minnesota for at least the decade or so. I've heard that the new Minneapolis might even have a retractable roof.

Hey guys,

I'm sitting here at Bogart's in Richmond. I caught the 2 PM flight from MSP to BWI, rented a car and drove down to Richmond. I'm sitting here drinking a Sam Adams and watching for a guy in a Vikings hat and/or a guy huddled into a dark corner booth asking Shaka what he's going to do. So far nothing to report but I'll let you know if anything develops in the next 20 minutes. For the VCU guys I wore my Maroon and Gold so you can identify me.

Good point, I've been wondering why we haven't been considering Saul Phillips. He's gonna make some fan base very happy sooner or later. I also covet Dwayne Stephens for his recruiting accumen, I'd like to see the U go after either if this Shaka stuff is just smoke without fire. Either are better suited than Flip
 

I looked, none of the national sources have a peep about Smart being resigned. I'm feeling good. Plus, my friend in reference has no sense of humor.
 


Felt like I had to chime in again. After all, how many times do two guys from Richmond, VA get into a bar fight, an entire contract gets renegotiated and trolls start to troll other trolls all in the same thread? :p
 

VCU only started renegotiating after the Michigan loss. Coach Rhoades is a finalist for the Sienna job. Seems like if Shaka left he'd be their heir apparent. Who knows.


I see triple D in the corner, we got the Rouser started but there's only two of us. Still waiting on MR Insider. Don't know how to upload iPhone pictures.
