I've seen a lot of strange and wonderful things in my life, and this thread is one of them.

While I appreciate the info, I am curious as to what your world is that someone wouldn't last long in? Jail? Russian mafia? Ice road trucker?
 


The only thing I can compare this to is the run-up to the Parise and Suter signings. Hope it ends as well for us as last time...

Man, I gotta know. What time and place do you come from? I like it. And I mean no disrespect, but I should point out you are scheduled to both fight and provide an update at 10:00 PM.
 

I just received a text from a friend who works at ESPN HQ and he overheard the college BB guys saying Smart will become our coach and to expect an announcement soon. The ESPN guys were saying they are working out some details on upgrades, etc.
 



You people...all up on Smart just because we have his old AD. You're setting yourself up to be disappointed.

If Shaka is the new coach for Minnesota so be it. My 2nd favorite school gets my favorite coach!

Slight amendment to my hat choice. As I cannot find my Vikings hat, I will be rocking the Twins hat in anticipation for the season to start OR my Pathfinder Ft. Benning hat (if I feel like being a *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#). Im meeting girls there, so no "boys" for me. If you're trying to involve your boys for this, then I reserve the right to call mine up before festivities begin- no one likes to get curb stomped!

I promise, as God is my witness, that whenever / if ever this saga ends, I will never spend half the day monitoring the Internet ever again. Somehow I've been able to make significant progress on a major memo today, but I'm not sure exactly how or when. Maybe I'm inspired!

Oh he is totally trolling people but it is pretty funny stuff. The horned fat guy stuff was priceless.
 


The silence from VCU is a bit telling right now.

There has been no outright denial of interest, just discussion of a restructuring which would be expected if Shaka was offered.

He replaced it with a Ft. Benning hat and moved to VA after living overseas. Dude was trained by our tax dollars to hurt people, while I still have no idea what time and place the other guy is from other than it is a time and place where pain is dispensed on people at the drop of a Vikings hat.
