Per Ryan Burns, a 2015 recruit will be committing to the Gophers anywhere between tomorrow and Thursday at the latest. No its not Kelly, Oseland, Carlburg or anyone who has been mentioned before apparently. Sorry guys, that's all I've got.

Nope, not him either. I really think it's somebody none of us know about.

Edit: his decision could come soon though. However, It would likely just be holding a spot until Nebraska decides whether or not to offer.

My guess is Almonzo Brown or Colton Beebe as both have visited the campus and have offers.

Could be, they weren't mentioned in the post and at the end Burns said somebody that he hadn't talked about.
 


Would Hunter Register or Mckinley Whitfield be considered guys that have “never been mentioned before?”
 




It will be nice if it was Kelly although he was often mentioned...

His HS has started practice and he does not to miss practice time. The fact that he and his mother are leaving Friday night for a visit here after spending considerable time in East Lansing is promising.

He knew he had practice when he scheduled the 5 day trip. He stated that his coaches understood his situation & were cool with it. Any way you slice it we went from having a 5-1 days visited advantage to a 1-2 disadvantage within the past week.
 

It is hard to say why he shortened it. His mother's schedule may have changed or the cost of 5 days vs 3 may have been a factor. 5 days is longer than most recruits take to visit a campus so I don't think it is necessarily a negative.

His HS teammate Ray Buford, we need for him to convince his friend the Gophers is where it's at.

Apparently I wasn't the only one watching "Young Frankenstein" on HDNet movies Sunday night.

We can only hope that the Gophers new recruit turns out to be a "monster" on the field.
 






It isn't the Fargo South kid, but I think he will pull the trigger pretty quickly.
