Nate Mason just informed me that he has committed to Minnesota. Huge pick up for Richard Pitino.

Wow! Huge get, and great looking player. I've been as excited about his highlight tape as anyone's on our list save Whitehead and Vaughn. I'm pretty dang jacked right now. Things are looking way up.
 

Score! (Literally) And Travis is at the hockey game tonight (I recommend watching it, high excitement, and intensity right now vs Boston College), and going to the sold out football game vs Nebraska tomorrow, and it sounds like he has legitimate interest in the Gophers!
My focus would be on 3 guys now... (Reid, Squirrel, and Rashad) I don't need any Tyus comments! Lol
 

It's going to be nice to have so many good ball handlers starting next year. It seemed like the last 4 or 5 years we've had just 1, maybe 2 players able to handle the ball under pressure. Dre, Dre, Mason, and McNeil will make up a nice group of PG/SG for us.
 



Great News - welcome Nate! He's a 3 star recruit according to ESPN; 34th PG ranking in class per ESPN.

Heed the need Reid!
 

It's also nice to have our PG locked up before Tyus announces so we don't look like we got caught with our pants down.

Totally agree. I was hoping we'd get a PG commit before Tyus' decision. I realize they are completely unrelated and no correlation, but in my warped mind it makes me feel better.
