If he’s leaving Utah it’s for retirement not another job.Whittingham stepping down from Utah. Might be a name to watch for Michigan.

Actually it appears I might be incorrect about this based on another headline that says he’s not retiring. Wow that is surprising. If he’s leaving Utah it’s for retirement not another job.
Succeeded in a sagging PAC. He is a nothing burger. What's to get?
As noted above he has a lot of pro and college experience, and has been a pretty good major university head coach. His recruiting at Arizona was incredible.
As another poster mentioned, it’s likely not a surprise that he resigned right after the PE deal was announced.Actually it appears I might be incorrect about this based on another headline that says he’s not retiring. Wow that is surprising.

Why not Cignetti?
I heard they were interested in Tony Dungy.
And Cleveland State for good measureFeel bad for eastern Michigan and the death penalty they’re about to receive on Michigan’s behalf
Will Marc Trestman pick up the phone?I heard they were interested in Tony Dungy.
Phillip John makes the rest look ugly.
Ever heard of Andrew Luck or Christian McCaffrey? Did quite well. Forget Michigan and 11 players offside as coach let 15 seconds run off the clock just to run an 8 against 11 play. Forget the Gophers were not offside when recovering onside a year ago.I wonder if a connection with David Shaw might make sense if they strike out with big name coaches currently with other programs. Had a great run at Stanford. Curious what he might be able to do with Michigan's resources. Currently passing game coordinator with the Lions, so he may be done with the college game, but by all accounts a fine man and leader, which should be an equally important part of the equation at this point for Michigan's administration.
Let's not be ridiculous, Matt Simon would be the obvious next University of Minnesota head coach. Can anyone imagine the gnashing of teeth on the board if Fleck got hired by Michigan and Harbaugh was promoted to interim head coach? The amount of head spinning by some posters would result in at least two spontaneous combustions.

Strange, Kalshi has Dillingham as the favorite now. PJ has less than a 1% chance according to their forecasts
Mike Max will take the job but only if he can continue to do Kick-Off Thursay and High School Sports Wrap.Let's not be ridiculous, Matt Simon would be the obvious next University of Minnesota head coach.
You're probably right. I respect Fleck a lot, but even he admits that he's not for everyone and the Michigan fan base would be a lot rougher on his style than our fan base has been.If PJ got offered there is no way he doesn't go, but I don't think it happens.
Only on GH would the semantics of a crowdsourced, incentive-driven mechanism for generating probabilistic forecasts of future events be debatedIt's not a forecast, it's a prediction market. If you believe something different or have different information, buy a contract.
Moore’s proclivities are not dissimilar to Mike Max/Mark Rosen/Sid and a few other TC media bulls. It’s actually pretty sad.Mike Max will take the job but only if he can continue to do Kick-Off Thursay and High School Sports Wrap.
When Colbert goes off the air in May, I don't know why WCCO doesn't give Maxie the 10:35 to 11:00 slot so the rest of us can get a few more minutes of news.
Really? I am putting my fingers in my ears. NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA-NA (not using my inside voice).Moore’s proclivities are not dissimilar to Mike Max/Mark Rosen/Sid and a few other TC media bulls. It’s actually pretty sad.
