Michigan fires Moore

PE. Physical Education

Yep, that’s gonna be a problem.

Only on GH would the semantics of a crowdsourced, incentive-driven mechanism for generating probabilistic forecasts of future events be debated 🙄

Not really. You don’t know who’s (or what’s) taken the other side. Kalshi Inc. eg benefits when supposedly walled-off Kalshi Trading wins bets over regular users. Wild West. Caveat emptor, but sports bettors aren’t generally the cautious type. Average joes are at a disadvantage, as always.

Cool AI commercial, bro. Exciting!

I don't think PJ is a good fit for Michigan. His culture for life program building is good here but in Michigan all they what to do is win baby win as they have proved the last 5 years. They don't care if they need to cheat to do it.
Yeah but they also have this delusional “Michigan Man” mythos that they buy into where they believe that the Michigan program is about high character and “doing the right thing”.

You brought it up...did you think people weren't going to comment on how worthless it is?

Co-head coach. Simon’s never been able to elevate himself beyond job sharing the OC role despite our desperate need for a competent play caller.
Simon is a conundrum. He is clearly loyal to PJ. It’s either that PJ absolutely won’t have an OC that is not coaching the quarterbacks or Simon doesn’t want the OC job all to himself

This will fix everything...

I don't know what they would find.

It seems plausible to me that nobody in the administration or the snoopy local media seemed to know this guy was in a relationship (two consenting adults) until things went horribly bad.

It isn't like Moore was some super coach that the administration would line up to defend...

I wonder if a connection with David Shaw might make sense if they strike out with big name coaches currently with other programs. Had a great run at Stanford. Curious what he might be able to do with Michigan's resources. Currently passing game coordinator with the Lions, so he may be done with the college game, but by all accounts a fine man and leader, which should be an equally important part of the equation at this point for Michigan's administration.
Nice sleeper pick.
