They have reviewed your resume and will keep it on file.Still no mention of an offensive line coach being replaced. Why??

Both can be true. No, but it does take a school that decides they want to win...and are willing to commit to a plan to make it happen. They also need someone who is willing to inject some serious cash into the program. Not only to go out and 'buy' better players, but, more importantly... to retain the players being developed.
Isn’t clay collection part of the job?He hasn't been given the best clay lately, but he surely hasn't done a very good job molding the clay on-hand.
And if you hire someone who has more than a year of experience coaching a MAC team that was terrible at the position, you'll have a good idea of how good of a coach they are.And mediocre players who make mediocre coaches. And some players never coach. And some coaches never play. I have no point.
Even if Fruechte doesn't have the title of co-oc, I like the idea of us having an assistant there that has lots of OC experience. Never hurts to have experience and ideas in the room.A couple of things....
1. If PJ was ever serious about testing the waters, he couldn't do it with that staff. Wasn't getting growth.
2. Could see this coming into play some.... Not sure a Co-OC is needed as much as eliminating potential multiple voices was. Harbaugh show now. Show growth and some drive or may get. Moved along also.
This is PJ going "all in" by showing belief in his Coordinators for 1 more year of ith Drake. Perich regressed.....
You are not alone. I also have no point. Kind of like “Oops wrong forum.”And mediocre players who make mediocre coaches. And some players never coach. And some coaches never play. I have no point.
I ‘ll put my coaching resume and results against him any day of the week. They have reviewed your resume and will keep it on file.
Could you post your resume here? Inquiring minds want to know.I ‘ll put my coaching resume and results against him any day of the week.
Is Gordie Shaw still with us?Could you post your resume here? Inquiring minds want to know.
Never bothered me with Mason, he had Browning and Petersen as co-OC's for years when we had prolific offenses.I actually don't like the "co" stuff.
You are right if Mo Irbahim's name was John Doe and was a running back at Coastal Carolina and spent one year coaching running backs no one would be that excited, but his name is Mo Irbahim. He knows the program, he knows Fleck, and it is safe to assume he knows the expectations, vision, and what the strengths and weaknesses of the program are.Mo coached elsewhere last year but if it wasn't for his playing career, I think a lot of people would be questioning why we hired someone with 1 year of experience coaching the second worst run offense in the MAC. The run game isn't all on the RBs and performance isn't all on the coaches but I hope he's a good enough coach that other competitive Big 10 schools were going after him or would have if they had a need.
Except the one that really matters. SMH. Fleck really doesnt get it.Goodness! Almost a complete and total gut job of the offensive staff.
I like this move by Fleck. At least his time with Winona and Northern Fruechte was very successful. Knowledgeable guy and he has clearly been around solid football mentors throughout his young coaching career. To be honest he might be more qualified as an OC than our current OC. He has been the play caller at all of his stops that he was OC.Even if Fruechte doesn't have the title of co-oc, I like the idea of us having an assistant there that has lots of OC experience. Never hurts to have experience and ideas in the room.
And Mo maximized his potential through hard work and smarts. He was so good at getting more yardage than you would expect. Loved hearing the story about him solving Iowa’s run fits during his 300 yard game vs them.If he can coach RBs to play like him then it's a home run hire but there are a lot of good players who make bad coaches and bad players who make good coaches.
Fruechte was also a speed, downfield WR. We desperately need more downfield throws. Maybe he can help bring that piece back into the offense. There isn't a co-OC listed on their website so I'm going to it's either him or the head coach calling the plays....but since their head coach has a defensive background it leaves me to assume Fruechte was calling them.
Make that fan the game management coach. Anyone who's played Madden regularly would be better than PJ at timeout and time managementI think Fleck should take his inhouse hiring model a step further and hire a fan as an assistant coach.
I think we should be the first team to use an AI robot play caller.I think Fleck should take his inhouse hiring model a step further and hire a fan as an assistant coach.
I think Fleck should partner with GH and do a fundraiser where GHers can pay to vote in one other GHer as an intern for each game.Make that fan the game management coach. Anyone who's played Madden regularly would be better than PJ at timeout and time management
AI: I'm finding a lot or RTUM comments on gopherhole ... they must like that play.I think we should be the first team to use an AI robot play caller.
DJ was a really good WRI wonder what all the wide receivers who left thought of Simon? We sure don’t seem to have a lot of success at the position other than the NFL caliber guys we had like Johnson and Bateman. This portal season is getting wild on day one!
I mean, that TE chip block seam route Jer ran was pretty effective...AI: I'm finding a lot or RTUM comments on gopherhole ... they must like that play.
AI: RUTM
Fans:
Next game they "fix" that and every play:
AI: Throw to the TE.
