Man and woman up. Anyone seriously thinking of not going because of the weather?

My wife and I are going, but we're not making our two kids (11 & 13) go because we can stand the cold more easily than putting up with 3 hours of whining. I've tried to give the 2 tickets away, but no takers yet.

I have a system for what to wear and when to add hand/foot warmers. It is the same system I use for fall fishing. It is amazing how proper clothing can make temps and wind non factors for football spectating.

My neighbor offered me his tix, I didnt feel like making the 8 hour round trip in crappy weather, so I mailed them to my brother who lives in Eden Prairie and he said he will go for sure.

I had my then 9 year old girl to the Wisconsin game and tailgate last year (about ten degrees colder than tomorrow) with no issues. I myself sat in the third deck of the Met for the Drew Pearson push off game. I was a little kid. Sad, but powerful memory of that.

The cold really isn't that big of a deal. Google how to layer properly and just dress appropriate and you will end up being too warm. I probably won't even use my mittens for half the game because I'll need to cool off some to prevent sweating. If you live in MN then 20 degree weather (with barely any wind being forecasted) shouldn't scare you.

Or here's a thought. STAND UP and cheer to stay warm. Move around. Don't just sit there.

My wife is 7 months pregnant and is not attending....made it to Purdue, Michigan and MTSU but the weather was a bit too much for her this time (she's a Michigan fan anyhow, tolerates the Gophers when they're not playing the Wolverines :))

Took my 8 & 10 year old to WI. They loved it. They are excited about tomorrow and tailgating below. It is going to be almost 20 with no wind. I fail to see how this is even a factor.

If you are giving tickets away, I'll take them off your hands! I can always find friends to go, or tweet this guy:

Pregnancy usually will raise ones internal temperature naturally. She will already be warmer than you. No excuses!

Just messin with ya, congrats and good luck.

Goldysmom and I will be there, loud and proud! Time to get a little "Swagger in your ass men!!!!!"

I thought about telling her the baby weight would insulate her better, but decided I actually enjoyed sleeping indoors during the winter :)

Carhartt lined overalls.
Some nice Sorel boots.
Vodka flask.

Feels like a calm, Spring day.

More worried about the Polar Bears than the weather

Just talked with two students at the U. Both said it will be too cold for them despite loving the team. What can ya do when people are too scared of a little cold weather?

I was about 10 at the time and sitting in the bleachers behind the other end zone. That sucked.

So your neighbor gave you tickets to use and you sent them to your brother? Nice.

You are an old man! By my calculations you have me by 2 years. I'm assuming you were much closer to the ref/bottle/eye as that was on the far end of the field from me. Humorously, as I sat there high up in the third deck behind home plate, I figured I was in the best seat in the house because our seats were as high as my hometown water tower.

I'll be there with my son, but have to leave early for a wedding. I don't want to miss the first half though. If leading at the half it will be hard to leave.

The bride and groom will not remember if you make the wedding, but will remember if you make the reception. Just bought you another 30 minutes. You are welcome.

Nadine, I've sent you a PM

It's still an option.

If the game was on BTN I would say just stream it. Who's your cable provider? Might be able to stream it for free if you use comcast. I'm not sure as I'm a directtv guy.
