Lets talk 2011 recruiting

Does anyone know about how many schollie's we have for 2011?

It obviously depends on what happens this year, kids who fail out, etc. As it stands, however, there are only 15 scholarship players scheduled to 'graduate' at the end of next season. When you consider that 2 of those players are a kicker and a longsnapper, this next class doesn't look to be a huge haul.

Wills will be starting next year. He will also be dominant. You heard it here first.

My take is the starting line will be the same one you had this year-which would be smart. Hahn was moved to DL at the begining of the season. Olson (G), Michel (T) and Mottla (C) played a lot of second string prior to the bowl when the seniors were out.

Wynn has been out of football for a year and during that time was recovering from surgery-he won't be ready. Compion somewhat the same, so it would be good to give him a RS.

Think about it, T. Davis was the backup for the guards and center position. There is a lot of opportunity in the interior to get some playing time during the season.

Brew would be nuts to put any true freshman on the O-line including SH. High school football to B10 is a major move up and you don't want someone like SH to fail -otherwise some of you guys would throw him under the bus.

Badgers aren't rodents. They are weasels.

It really fits better, don't you think?

Greg Eslinger went from being a relatively unheralded high school senior to a solid starting OL as a true Freshmen. Now, that was a vastly different system but even so I'd be shocked if Seantrel Henderson wasn't a starter in Minnesota starting with his very first game.
