These may be "opinion" guys, but there's an old saying that you are entitled to your own opinion, but you aren't entitled to your own facts. Even if they only use Scout, 10th isn't last, that's just dishonest. But they should also mention that two other respected sources have the recruiting class in the middle of the pack.
Kfan is great at leaving out details to get their point. I was listening and heard talk on how many MN kids were getting D-1 schollys. Amazingly, they went thru a few, mentioning the kids that signed with WI, Nebraska, Stanford, and etc. Didn't hear them mention the 2 highly ranked MN kids that are staying here, Edwards/Gjere.
Is it too much to ask for them to actually have an intelligent conversation? It was Common, but seriously. You don't need to be experts, but purposely skipping talking about the highly ranked kids that WANT to play for the Gophers is so disappointing to me. And there are a few that think the media is not bias towards the Gophers and think they "tell it like it is".
I would settle with an honest conversation. They make no effort to find anything out, and cherry pick so they can talk smack. They are supposed to know more about sports than their audience. A lot of their audience is interested in the Gophers, but all the information the audience gets is filtered through ignorant KFAN smack.

I still can't get past them saying the Totino RB was the best player in the state by far but "didn't have the grades" so he went to NDSU. I've never even heard of the kid before.
And people still think the Vikings have nothing to do with the Gophers. This event would be covered so differently if there were no pro football team in town.
Why? What big Vikings story are they covering today instead? If they were in the Super Bowl this week, you might have a point. But that isn't the case this year, or any of the last 33 years. Find another excuse. The real reason is that most people don't care. Even many of the people who are legit Gopher Football fans don't get that excited about signing day. Mostly because with the exception of the SH's of the world they've never heard of these players yet. Also because more times then not in the last 25 years, we have a spectacularly medicore class. Miami has everything Minneapolis has, including the Dolphins, yet there is probably more coverage of signing day there.
Not really. It's been mostly Pro Football talk down there today. Jarod from Subway is on next. Here's the Hurricane's Home station:

No offense, but you just learned today that KFAN is a joke? I've often thought that if I had the capital, I just might start a real sports radio station around here.

So the Hurricane fan base doesn't have an inferiority complex like many in Gopher nation? Perish the thought.
I'm guessing a big reason Miami (which is an awful, awful pro sports town) has more coverage of the Hurricanes than we do of the Gophers because the Canes have won 5 national titles in the last three decades. If the Gophs got even one Big Ten title, let alone a national championship, there'd be a big increase in regional interest, but we just can't seem to turn the corner.
The market drives the producers not vice versa. Minnesota is a bit odd but I don't think we've suspended the natural order just yet.I don't think people are interested in listening to KFAN smacking the Gophers all the time. But that's all that is offered, so people will take it.

Well, whether or not its good or bad is subjective, but ultimately the responsibility or the praise belongs to the head coach.Surprise Surprise...Barrero saying the recruiting class sucks and its all Brewster's fault......

Anybody hear lately whatever happened to Jeff Dubay? He had that run-in with the law awhile ago and let go from the station. Just wondering. Thanks in advance.
Go Gophers on signing day!!!
