I could not believe that. There are a lot of times in basketball where a guy hits the floor hard on a rebound and needs a second to catch his breath or maybe he’s drumming up the injury…in those cases I’ve seen the coach/trainers let them work it out for a minute.

it was pretty clear curry was hurt immediately.
 

I'm curious about this as well. Is there a rule that if coach and trainer come out, the player has to leave the game? Hoping he would get up and walk it off? Seems odd. Something similar happened earlier in the year but can't remember who our player was.
 

If a coach or trainer comes on the floor to attend to an injured player that player must leave the game for at least on tick of the clock, unless the team takes a timeout.

Where were our trainers when EJ went down?

I’m re-watching the great W from yesterday and just got to EJ Stephens landing on his back and lying on the ground in pain. Does anyone else think it weird we didn’t have a medical person go out to see him? Maybe they had to make an emergency bathroom break or were in the locker room screaming...

If Curry steps on the court tomorrow it probably means I should give up on my medical prognostications that immediately ensue after seeing an on court injury, but alas, vanity will win out.

Lidocaine can work wonders. Maybe even cure COVID? 🤔
 



I like what Daniels has done in his minutes and have faith he can step up if needed, even though he is limited offensively. However, if Curry can't go at all, that leaves backup/foul trouble minutes as a big hole, from what I have seen.
 

Hopefully the postponement of the Penn State game works in our favor and we get Curry back after only missing 1 game

I hope you are right, since he was wearing a walking boot vs. Iowa I would expect he would miss this week and next, at least.
 

On Skor North, Doogie said that Curry was improving and might have been a game-day decision IF the Gophers had played on Wednesday. He seemed to think that Saturday was more likely - IF there is a game on Saturday.
