I agree. It's one thing for someone who doesn't represent themselves as a journalist to spread rumors on twitter, but I for one believe that the standard of print ought to be met before a self-described journalist makes a statement on twitter.

Know of someone else who would have been going between Minneapolis and Hattiesburg weekly who may also have had to take a stop over in Washington, DC over this past weekend???

Pretty sure that plane may have been taking someone wearing purple...

The media in general doesn't know jack.

Other than that, it's all guesses.

Wouldn't His Highness have permission to go directly from IAD to Hattiesberg without schlepping back to MSP with the rest of the commoners? :)
 


Big Gold Nation says we would be crazy to hire him, but wouldn't really care as long as their other coaches went with.
 

Update: Fedora's AD says Fedora has not even been contacted by the Gophers.
 


Doogie---despite what others say keep them coming. To me, this is like the anticipation on Christmas Eve for morning to come so I can see what I got for presents. It's killing me!!!

We never post anything w/o it coming from a coach/Bierman contact/agent... we choose to be aggressive compared to many other electronic media reporters in town.
 






Funny... I want to be right before first... if they go together, great, but not my goal. But do want to be aggressive, as does Schmit. We view 4, 9, and 11 as our competition... I don't think that they have touched this search.

That's my point exactly. I see the name "Doogie" 500 times per day on Twitter on my Blackberry. I have no idea who even works for the other places because I don't follow them (because they don't cover the search).
