Let's face it. We are never, ever, ever going to recruit classes like Texas, OSU, etc. loaded with four and five star players. Hopefully we'll get a few of those, but we're going to have to go with lesser rated players the coaches feel can develop. Also I have no quarrel with giving a kid a chance who's dad, uncle, and cousins played here. His measurables aren't that bad for a number of positions. We need to be more like Iowa (much as I hate to admit it). Ferenz has a habit of taking some kids few people want and developing them, over two or three years, into some damn fine players. If this kid is willing to work hard enough he can be a fine safety or linebacker in a couple of years. Sure Brewster told him he can try QB. You can always give a kid a try at his dream position. If that doesn't work out he will be more than willing to move around if he wants to see the field.
