It's time for a change.

If that is the reason they need to fire Coyle and find an AD that can tap into wealthy alumni and local corporations to build up an NIL fund so they can win consistently.
100%. Mark Coyle is one of the worst ADs in the conference. Should have been fired for the Ben Johnson hiring debacle.

I kind of despise message board ppl who love to come out after losses and trash everything. Like one player makes some kicks and you're watching the Fresno state game logged out of gopher hole right now

I don't watch other team's games but assuming so prove my free rent point. Again you've offered zero stats as a rebuttal to my post because you have none. Deep down you know I'm right that Fleck's time here has run it's course and he'll be fired within the next twelve months. Good day.

Agree change is needed.

Change at the top
1. Replace Coyle
2. Replace Defensive Coordinator
3. Replace Off Line Coach
4. Replace Linebackers/Secondary Coach

Find CB’s, LB’s, WR’s, OL help and a kicker for next year.

My wish list for Xmas.

Autumn turns to winter
And then winter turns to spring
It's not just for the seasons, you know
It goes for everything
Clouds can turn to rain and then it just might snow
You gotta take a lesson from Mother Nature
And if you do you'll know
When it's time to change, then it's time to change
Don't fight the tide, come along for the ride
Don't ya see?
When it's time to change, you've got to rearrange
Who you are into what you're gonna be

Day by day, it's hard to see
The changes you've been through
A little bit of living, a little bit of growing
All adds up to you
Every boy's a man inside

And if you want to reach your destiny
Here's what you've got do

He won’t be fired in next 12 months. They don’t have the money or boosters to pay the buyout.

You're right. Deep down I do know it, thank you for coaxing it out of me.

That is including 1.2 million for Hetherman. Not sure what Collin's is making but obviously the agreed budget has some room. So yes PJ can go hire a DC making over a million. Also shows we are spending more than Wisconsin. Obviously less than the big boys.

Many ADs like to hire their own football HC.

lol. Take a minute to look up what our share of the Big Ten media money is per year.
Despite that media money they had to charge the students 11 million dollars this year to help pay the added costs of revenue sharing and 20 more scholarships.

I can't take it anymore your posts are horrible. Kirk ferentz, Bill snyder, Pat fitz, Mark dantonio, list can go on and on of good coaches who go 6-6, 5-7 then win 9,10,11 games at middle of the road P5 schools. Records fluctuate because their not blue blood programs. They develop guys to fit their system. PJ is pumping more talent to the nfl then any other gopher coach in recent memory. He has built a consistently competitive program year after year

If you are going to bring in guys via NIL and the transfer portal and not play them what is an increase in budget gonna do? None of the transfers outside of Nestor have been contributors. The main area of concern on both lines the guys they brought in are not good and can’t play.

You like to mention the revenue share a lot as if it is some endless pot of money. However, that money supports the other sports which lose money( U needs to cut sports) They don’t have enough after covering those sports losses to pay buyouts and the like. That is what most programs use booster money for. The university of Minnesota is far from flush with cash compared to other Big Ten programs especially when factoring in booster and NIL money and that revenue share isn’t enough to cover buyouts, fund other sports, and cover loan payments on facility upgrades done years ago.

Ski-U-Mad-Bro expects nothing but the absolute best. Pretty sure he's also got a lot of $$$ to donate to the program too so we should all get in line and agree with him to show him that the gophers are ready for change. Please, open your wallet Ski-U-Mad!

NIL-wise I would think Indiana is similar to us. What are they doing that we aren't?
More fertile recruiting ground would be one thing I suppose.
Indiana gets money from regular NIL and revenue sharing g sources, as the Gophers do, and also from a billionaire alum (Mark Cuban), which the Gophers don’t do. Recruiting is a big thing, but hiring top notch coordinators who coach to scheme is also a big thing—maybe a bigger things, as the NW game showed. Coordinator and position coach (and analyst) money comes from the University, not NIL. Indiana spends materially more on coordinators than the U, I believe. I’m warming to Harbaugh, who I think PJ must handcuff a bit; but we are not in a good place with our inexperienced DC. Position coaches? Don’t know.

There’s truth than that yes. I just can’t stand it when people add up our assistant coach salaries, and say that we don’t have enough to pay them. That’s not true. Our knuckleheads at the coordinator positions are overpaid, even at the relatively paltry amount they may compared to their peers and P4.

Indiana salary pool was very similar to Minnesota until this year.
