It's time for a change.

Totally different thing getting yelled at from time to time and having to deal with PJ‘s culture every minute of every day. Just telling you to look up how much money the Big Ten pays us as our split we are rolling in money to pay our coaches and to pay whatever other Bills come due. NIL is an entirely different matter, but we are in the money conference and we have all kinds of money.
My point is if a coach wins people will put up with a lot. Also, I’m certain Saban was not easy to work for especially given he was willing to get after Kiffin like that in the public eye.

Every B1G team is getting the same amount of money so that does not create any sort of competitive advantage.

I'm fine keeping pj

But there needs to be changes to the staff and increased budget.

We should've been able to keep Heatherton from going to Miami
Yeah except any good coordinator would go to Miami. Best recruiting grounds for talent, great High School football just in Miami metro area not to mention Florida weather and no State income taxes. All that matters in a vagabond coaching profession. Hard to keep quality coordinators when the pay is below to lower average of Big 10. Heathermen had some success and he was good as gone. He was gonna get hired away I think on many levels. Lost good D-line and linebacker coaching too. All that left, leveled up.

It's not entirely a level playing field, you can still fund raise and pay outside NIL if it is legitimate earnings, I think from boosters..

I get it, you don't like PJ and want to blame him for everything.

I didn't realize you were personally connected to prior coordinator who left and know reason..
Do you believe everything you read or hear or do you think maybe there’s sometimes more of the story?

Good points.

Yes, there is budget left.. And we get 600 buyout from Miami
Ok… why isn’t it being spent?

Have you seen an actual budget for assistant pool or just the increase clause in PJ’s extensions? It’s my recollection that those clauses have been rather vague.

Well Ciarrocca left to go east, came back after getting fired from PSU and went back east to work for HC he has a relationship with.

If he hated PJ I doubt he comes back

Rossi got 400k raise to go to Michigan State.

Couldn't tell you.

Fleck paid both coordinators who left a lot more than the current ones. I'm certainly not a math major, but that's pretty easy to figure out.

The second time the OC left it was the equivalent of taking a 20 foot run and kicking PJ in the nuts. PJ was not amused. You don’t think we could’ve matched Ross’s raise?

Respectfully, you're retarrded. Respectfully.
Imagine calling someone retarded when you can't spell worth a damn. Respectfully you're a moron. It's interesting that you couldn't offer a proper rebuttal with stats so you just hurl an insult which becomes a loser's tool when an argument is lost.

Yes, in their second seasons but he’s consistently found new hires on the cheaper end of the spectrum.

Ahhhh - I don’t know what to say - bad loss - bad teams lose - NIL agree needs to build to make it better - my $100 ain’t covering it I guess

Until you get enough NIL to be competitive you are just making a change for the sake of making a change and without much probability of improvement
This is the answer. With completely unlimited salaries and other teams having much larger NIL pools to pay players, we are likely not to rise above mid-pack anytime soon unless boosters step up.

I used two r's because I wasn't sure if this site had some restriction on the proper spelling. And I'd say it's hard to have a proper argument when your position is so insane it's just not even worth debating. Would you have posted this if we make the kick and win in OT?

Also I hate when you guys make threads like this after we lose games as an underdog. Like we weren't even supposed to win today. If you have so much conviction why not just make the posts when vegas sets the line? I'll give you an idea: "4.5 pt underdog vs Northwestern is unacceptable, fire the coach and burn it all!!"

That confirms the point. There's unspent money in the pool.
Not necessarily. There could be multiple stipulations that aren’t public. I have no doubt that the administration would try to pinch pennies wherever possible.

Just saying PJ is choosing not to spend the money doesn’t make sense.

That’s a very simplistic view. To me a big part of watching sports is the eyeball test you know When you watch something that’s good and you know when you watch something that sucks complete ass. Today, our defense and kicker sucked complete ass.

Exactly – – it doesn’t make a lot of sense but it’s what he’s doing.

It's time for a change! Clean house after the Badgers game.
-Zero wins against Michigan and Ohio State.
-1-8 vs Iowa (Hawkeyes have been mostly mediocre during Fleck's tenure)
-4-4 vs Wisconsin and probably gonna lose next week.
-Two catastrophic collapses to NW in your last two meetings against them.
-Bottom 4th in the conference each year in recruiting.
-Good coordinators leave for same job elsewhere.
-Losing record in Homecoming games.
Especially this cycle, that would be the dumbest, most short-sighted, boneheaded, knee jerk reaction anyone could make.

Coaching staff, even the head coach seem like they are ready for a change or maybe want change. I'm not saying it, that I want change, but something has been weird, seemed off all year, that i cannot pin down. In the trenches especially, There's guy's up front that have played a lot of football, regressing each week. Losing causes issues, but enthusiasm is down too.

We obviously didn't and haven't paid a coordinator that much

I won't disagree. I feel the same way.

Prove there’s no other reason for the way he is hiring.

What benefit does he have to hire cheap, inexperienced coaches?

I won’t argue with your last point. This season has been coached rather poorly with little to no improvement.
