There's so many stories. But no this was a waitress on the ucf campus. I stayed up way to late but In talking to people in eugene and tampa sounds like he is not wanted back in either city for any reason... If all these rummors (as that's what they are right now) have any semblance of truth how can anyone in good faith hire the guy. (Once he is shit canned)

Drinks daily
Smokes dabs
Fucks any and all chicks (we've all been here ) wandering dick syndrome
Misses or late to practices and team meetings...




Isn't this grounds for dismissal ( behavior of a state employee ) In my corporate days my contracts always stated I could be dismissed for behavior that the company deemed unfit wether I was at work or even at a bar.. tweets, f.b. posts... etc....
 

Maybe they were blinded by him being the prodigal son returning to save Lincoln ........ but wouldn't all this stuff have come up in the vetting??

If Frost’s team was tearing it up on the field, no one in Nebraska would care about his personal behavior issues. But because Frost’s teams keep coming up short, keep making mistakes and choking, his lack of “leadership by example”—his hypocrisy, really—might be part of what hamstrings his team.

If a head coach is often late to, or misses, team practices (probably owing to his “lifestyle”), how can he expect his team to show the required dedication … or to grow and mature? In this regard, whether you like PJ’s schtick or not, we are not only very lucky, but we are blessed to have PJ—a HC who leads by example and practices what he preaches.

Coaches like PJ take 40th ranked recruiting classes and have them playing as if 20th ranked. Coaches like Frost do precisely the opposite.

This is a prime example of a HC who understands Leadership and one who does not.
There are different leadership styles, and all can work, but at the point that you become inconsistent, you lose credibility, and that's makes it really hard to continue to lead if you don't command the respect.

People talk about PJ and his mottos, etc., but they all tie back to an overlaying leadership methodology.
It's not just empty slogans and words. Each word or slogan ties it to something that directly comes out of business / leadership books, or something that is a metaphor for leadership teachings.

Scott Frost doesn't understand leadership.
I also don't think he's necessarily a very good X's and O's coach.
And I don't think he's a CEO type either.

I thought that was such a telling moment.

Frost stepped up to the podium and bitched about his team / players. Not that it can't be a motivating thing ... but it seemed so unnecessary and negative about a stupid thing. Who wants to try harder for that guy?

Then he did it again yesterday... wtf. Bro that's not working.

I remember Jerry Kill said something about showing up in MN and thinking he had to instill some discipline so he was a hard ass for a while, but then realized that the team wasn't having ANY fun, and the players just needed to have some fun / believe in themselves so he changed his approach. He recognized they weren't lazy, they weren't just not trying becaue they thought they were too good for practice ... they really thought they sucked and of course that's how it played out on the field.

Jerry did need to instill some discipline in some ways, but he also recognized he needed to get the guys thinking positively and being hard on them all the time wasn't going to do that.


Sometimes you gotta break folks down and build them up... but you gotta recognize when they're already down and doing it further is just going to make them resent you.

He's into the BBC, but he's been on a dry spell with it. Doesn't look like he will get it any time soon either.

is he asking Brett the buffet master play book? He should have waited at the buffet places in Urbana-Champaing. Induce Brett into food coma, then copy the play book. Frosty is not thinking. How on earth a B1G HC can say these things. That alone should be the cause to be fired. I think Frosty and Co. really missed AAC and Florida ball. They can play fast and loose over there. If you have enough talents your mistakes or lack of preparations can be covered. It is very very different in B1G.

Every coach they have hired for the last 20+ years has been worse than the one before it seems. It's an epic fall. The only hope for the football program is that they have nothing else in that state. Anyone up for livestock feeder rides on a Nebraska stream?
