Injury Watch: 1/31 - Pitino: Dre out for NW and unlikely for Purdue

Doogie just mentioned he just received a text from a person inside the BB program saying Andre's injury is NOT a 'high ankle sprain'...which is good news.

This is the second reference I've seen to this and I don't understand it. He was in a walking boot. Even if he were healthy, he wouldn't have moved much differently while wearing that. I can't believe you can infer anything from how he looked yesterday while very casually participating in a the shoot around. The fact that he was out there at all is encouraging.

Yeah, I mean, that is why I put the disclaimer at the beginning of my post. From a complete and utter layman's point of view, it looked discouraging that he wasn't really even putting any weight on it and was basically standing on one leg while shooting. How much of that is just due to the boot, I honestly don't know.
