Why was I complaining about the scoreboard and its look?

Your complaint was about black jerseys with maroon numbers and gold outlines. The irony is that's the exact look of you pic; thus, you must have liked it they was it looked.
 

Minn vs Wisc is also the most D1 rivalry in college football.

Sadly, the stands will have a lot of red in the them. I'd prefer Gameday show up when we aren't playing a team that'll bring just as many as fans as us. I'd still take it though.
 

I'm thinking our kids don't really need Gameday to come.

As much as I like it to happen.

Our guys are not ready for that level of college football frenzy. Wisconsin's are.

So I'm conflicted.

Since a lot of people in this thread seem to be confused, Minnesota-Wisconsin is neither the oldest nor the most-played rivalry in college football. The oldest is Harvard-Yale (1875), and the most-played is Lehigh-Lafayette with 148 games since 1884. Among I-A schools, Minnesota-Wisconsin is the most-played (122 games since 1890) but is behind several others in duration, led by Notre Dame-Michigan who have played 41 times since 1887.

People should be more specific by saying "major" college football, or even more specific and say "FBS" when claiming most played. But the fact is that stating it as has been done doesn't really confuse anything as the stat is true with the qualifier, and that's all that matters.

Do you think we'd have a better chance at winning if Gameday came? Do you think our guys would be better prepared to compete? Or do you think it might create a lot of pressure and distraction that we might do better without?

Those are the only questions I care about.

You're missing the forest through the trees. College Gameday is one of the things that makes college football so great.
