GAME #14: B1G OPENER! Gophers (11-2) v. Michigan (8-4) [BTN, 6:00PM]

Bull **** call. We gotta hit the defensive board a lot better they are getting too many second chances.

Mathieu is playing pretty well so far, that's encouraging since a lot of people questioned whether he'd be able to compete in the Big Ten.

It's a shame that Mo has absolutely no offensive game whatsoever

Mathieu has been our MVP so far. Really can't overstate how big of a pick up that was for us.

You must have missed his nice post up and seal that led to an easy drop step lay up.

Must have. I guess I've just seen him get the ball in the post three times and look confused as to what to do next. Need to have at least one move to the bucket.

Need to feed EE and attack the paint more. No reason to settle for long jumpers when McGary's not out there.

Boy, very few complaints from me so far! Really my only one is that Austin Hollins sure doesn't shoot 3's well for a SG. He should drive it in instead of settling for perimeter jumpers. Go Gophs!

Matheiu's quickness around the basket it quite stunning. He's so quick that a lot of times he has a nearly wide open lay up.

6 point swing after Dre misses a wide open 3. He has to hit those.

This one has the feel of a nailbiter. Hope we come out strong in the 2nd half, Michigan is a pretty good team even though they don't have McGary.

It would be nice if we could hit from downtown.

I'd like to think that our shooting percentage can only go up in the second half, and we really have a good shot at pulling this out. I'd also like to think our conditioning will come through the last 5 minutes of the game and give us an advantage there, also.

It's nice that we only have four team fouls and no one has more than one.

Like the way Coach is playing EE - don't let him get too tired - keep him out of foul trouble.

Austin will get his shots to fall in the second half. What a different team from last year. Keep waiting for them to stand around til Dre takes an off balance shot from downtown. Lil Dre was. Great pick up and no doubt is the engine on this team. His pace keeps everyone on their toes.

Good half... good defensive pressure... Now hit a few wide open 3's and we can take home a W.

Good to see Andre getting his points - now Austin has to hit a few.

Ugh, EE with a quick foul. Hopefully he doesn't pick up another.
