#1nHkyCfbBsbDncSolarDebat.........I'm going to need the RPI rating on those Flip coached Golden Valley Lutheran teams.

I can tell you exactly why Flip Saunders went undefeated at home at Golden Valley Lutheran...He only contracted refs who were EXTREME HOMERS!

So...you're saying you reffed those games!

I didn't go to GVL, but when it shut down a lot of the kids that were going to go there, came to my school instead. We had so many Minnesotans attending school there, we'd have an annual football game we titled, Minnesota vs the world. And of the 2 years I was there full time, Minnesota beat the world the one year.

As for their RPI #s. I'd say they were #1 among Div -3c or whatever they were?! lol

You and I both know which side of our toast is buttered, right?

Flip told me, every game I reffed for him, "If we win this game tonight, I'll give you another one next year."

Flip sounded more credible as the Gophers head coach in one interview than Tubby has in 6 years. Figuring out what kind of players you have, designing a plan to maximize their strengths , recruiting a good balance of player "types". WHAT? Who would think of that. Just surround ourself with a bunch of yes men, lazily recruit, and sleep walk through games (and apparently practices).

Flip is interesting to me for obvious reasons. Just listen to the man talk and he can dissect a game and narrow it down to advantages/dis-advantages and plan accordingly. My hesitation is in motivation and recruiting acumen/experience. I'd be ok with rolling the dice.

Listening to Tubby speak is so often frustrating. He just seems to ramble aimlessly. I can only wonder what it is like when he is trying to explain things in practice.
