I love this staff's work ethic on the recruiting trail. Pitino has a TON of talent to work with these next couple of years. Now we just have to wait and see how he will do with developing said talent. Future is bright!

Love the work Pitino and staff are doing on the recruiting trail.

Thanks for posting the vids. I hadn't seen him play before. I noticed a couple of nice left handed finishes in those videos as well.

WAIT.....just so I've got this straight....he announces his decision at 7 a.m.....on a Twitter account. No press conference, no hat choosing, no drama.....that just doesn't happen in this day and age. Eric Curry, you are already my favorite Gopher!!!!!

Who cares if a kid wants to have a press conference? If anyone is to blame, it's the fans, not the recruits for putting them on.

Good week for Gopher basketball. This will make the growing pains this season much easier to endure.

He's agile and has big hair. Not sure what more we could want.

Welcome, Eric!

He's 6'7", 7'1" with the afro!

His mom is really dialed in! Very supportive! I bet she has an account on here!

Considering some of the crap that gets posted here about Gopher players by their so-called fans, I hope not.

Besides the considerable talent of this upcoming class, I couldn't be happier with the types of guys they seem to be. I love that Curry didn't make a big deal of his announcement and that Amir seemed so down to earth in his and really quite disinterested in being on camera. Not that it's a big deal for guys to have fun with their announcements, but the way these guys dealt with their recruitment is very refreshing and it's hard to not speculate that they will be team-first guys. I also like how early Michael made his commitment. He seems to have a lot of home-state pride, along with Amir. I hope Amir continues his recruiting.

Great recruiting class...two nice groups in a row. It will Definitely be fun to see the upward progression on the court.

Watched a few videos of da kid. What I like, good timing on his jump, does a decent job of using his body to get shots off near the basket, decent frame to build on w another 20 lbs of muscle. To me he seems like potentially a good workhorse type player, not too flashy but is involved and could in time contribute 20 solid minutes a game (10 pts, 6 rebounds). For him to be most effective, he needs to work on his mid range jumper, ball handling, and foot speed. Welcome aboard Eric!

I agree with his jumper and ball handling. I do disagree about foot speed however. Ryan James, who watched him a few times in the EYBL said one of his biggest strengths is his lateral quickness for a big man.

Quincy Lewis came to the U from Arkansas as well. Maybe some similarities?

Been in and out of radio shows today. Has there been much mentioned about Pitino and this class on the airwaves today? Thanks
