Does Fleck get asked to interview for other coaching openings ?

Koi's an old-style small-town homer and I respect that. He'll be an all-time Gopher great, go to the NFL and might even make the hall of fame. He'll retire and open a bar in Esko where he can hang out with he's old buddies and hunt and fish.
Not putting him done. It's just my guess.
Honestly he is legend enough where someone individually might pony up to keep if that’s what it takes

Bo made off the cuff statements about the fan base and boosters that were spot on… unfortunately the truth hurt people who were in position to act… even though Bo was right, and they were wrong and should have stood down.
I seem to recall (obviously at my age my memory often escapes me) that it was "how" it was said that was as big a problem as "what" was said. No question Pelini was the last time they had a decent coach.

Pay the man his money.

I don't know why your administration isn't brow beating the large business entities for a few million at least. Do they think out of state customers will be offended if they engage with the flagship at their home base?

It will be interesting to see if any coaches run from the SEC/B1G to ACC or B12.

There is a really good chance he is a serious contender for some openings this off-season.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him being poached by a UNC or Kentucky.
He might leave some day but it won't be for a middling ACC job or one of the 3 hardest jobs in the SEC.

WTF are you talking about? "your administration"

He's got a good thing here and seems comfortable. He also has an AD that he is comfortable with, and just as important, the AD is comfortable with him.

I could be wrong but I think he's sticking around. He still garners cheers when he's announced prior to kickoff, especially among the student section. They love him.
Exactly, my two girls at the U love him along with the entire student body. My freshman looks forward to PJ running out the tunnel! Life program and good football. Solid program!

Yes, the demeanor of his comments were quite “curt”. That was Bo. But he could all but guarantee you 9 wins.

Most programs, especially with big money boosters, are not going to take to PJ's schtick.
He also just closed on the dream house they built. I don't think he's leaving.
His name will get mentioned for other jobs but those mentions will be driven by his agent, not potential schools. I agree that his schtick is an impediment. An AD might be able to look past it if he'd had a few more 2019s but not when the norm is what it is. He gets laid a lot of money and has little expectation. There might be a job he takes if the money is better but not just any job. I doubt Kentucky or UNC does it.

If the Gophers had beaten UNC 45-0 then maybe, but he lost against them with an arguably better roster at home so…

I imagine most coaches will leave for a wide variety of jobs if the pay increase is there.
Right? He apparently took a call from UCLA. He’s clearly going to listen if someone tries to talk to him. He grew up a Badger fan, fawns over Nebraska whenever he plays them, and talks about wanting Iowa-like consistency. It’s a business. He will go wherever he gets paid as long as it doesn’t risk nuking his career.

FiFU

I don't really think so. Have to think if he goes somewhere else he is probably kind of starting out at year 1 again too when worked hard to get to how it is now. He has some solid recruits coming too and probably pick up some in the portal. He needs a year to hopefully get all the rivalry trophies to stay in MN at once!

lol what? His career is pretty safe in Minneapolis and has beaten WI quite consistently. If you were being sarcastic my bad.

Wow, seems like there's a few posters who got their gummy dosages mixed up this afternoon after the game...
