Defending Weber

Let me try to open your eyes with a different angle Formo.

What would you say is the most important position on any football team?

WTF does that have to do with Web being bad/ugly/inconsistent/good/pretty/broken/etc. QB?

You are not objective.

Hahahahaha. Holy crap. Eli Manning? GTFO with your nonsense.

And I am objective. Weber is a bad QB. That's an objective assessment. Anyone who asserts that Weber is inconsistent and also "not a bad QB" is the one who lacks objectivity. Get frickin' real.

Cute. You didn't address my question, but only responded with 'laughter'. Sounds like you don't have anything to base your opinion on.

It's great you have one, but lets be honest, you can't call your opinion as truth without supporting any evidence. Until then, you are far from objective.

GG, tool.

Farve is the exception to the rule. He gets a free pass because you can't even begin to think about comparing he and Weber. Additionally, he's a better player in clutch situations. Where Farve has risen to meet challenges throughout his career, Weber has wilted.

I already feel dirty just typing both of their names in the same sentence. Please don't ever make me do that again. You should be whipped for even bringing Farve into the conversation. Shame on you.

never compared one time-just trying to understand the theories some of you have for bad qb's and being inconsistant. if you decided to overlook my statement and make a comparison that is on you my friend

weber

I wonder what Rick Spielman sees that we don't, (as per Charlie Walter's column)

Formo you make it obvious with every post that you obviously follow only Minnesotan football teams, and have your entire life, and have never bothered to watch teams with good QBs.

zing.

Rick Spielman made a modest comment about a local kid. Smart business to not rip local kids in your own market. His quote was something like he thought a pro team would pick up Weber next year. I never heard the word draft. Will a team throw a flyer to bring him to camp just to see if it was Brew's crappy ass coaching that held the kid down? Maybe. Hard to say. Maybe Weber isn't the problem. I think he's awful, but it is slightly conceivable he's been coached so poorly over 4 years that he couldn't show what he had.

I will say I've seen Tavaris Jackson throw passes just as ugly as Weber has, and he is in the pro's. I'm not sure why, but he's there. He is 5 times the athlete Weber is, so that must count for something. But what the hell do we know, Trent Dilfer sucked and he won a super bowl...

I see you failed to answer the question.

Anyone with any football IQ above "retarded" knows the answer is QB. And you ask what it has to do with this conversation? Hilarious. Stop embarrassing yourself and just quit while you are behind.

You question is so stupid it doesn't deserve a response other than laughter. You want supporting evidence?

Let's look at the bottom line. Wins and losses. Adam has 14 wins and 29 losses. His wins came against the following powerhouses:

Middle Tennessee State
South Dakota State
Michigan State
Purdue
Northwestern
Air Force
Syracuse
Illinois
Indiana
Florida Atlantic
Montana State
Bowling Green
Northern Illinois
Miami (OH)

So yeah, if you want to say Weber is a "good" QB, I'll agree in a sense. He's good at beating crap teams (most of the time).

All Hail Adam Weber! King of QB mediocrity!

Awwwwwww yeah...I now remember that game. Decker had some amazing catches. I guess the nightmare of what Tyler Sheen did in 2007 completely made me forget we played them again in 2008...

Thank you for the reminder, Brewster has *2* blowouts in his career...
