Speaking as someone of Welsh decent. That's offensive. Careful, you'll lose your woke badge.Bet on what? You’d find a way to welsh out of it.

you'd imagine they need to honor scholarships and keep things open for the athletes. if they don't, this will be a PR nightmare unseen before (I cannot imagine the scenario Trevor Lawrence tries to paint of guys being sent home will be the only option)Maybe Pompous Elitist knows about a vaccine being made from the blood of children in the LA cult he found
Seriously though what does this mean for all the D1 athletic departments that still have to honor scholarships, pay coaches, keep things running?
You don't have to pay the Strib to get articles. Just clear your cache.Been on vacation and I refuse to pay the Trib, are there any Gopher players testing positive?
This is linked to influenza as well, but the flu is a protected disease.
Do you know what caused it in these 5 athletes? This is linked to influenza as well, but the flu is a protected disease.
It appears to be happening more with Covid. This is linked to influenza as well, but the flu is a protected disease.

I don't know that this is necessarily fair, Kevin Warren has been Commissioner for less than a year and most of that has been during a pandemic, I wouldn't expect anyone in that position to handle things well.
actually loled. thank you for thatIT’S THE SAME THING, KIRK!!!!!!!
I doubt they polled the players. The NCAA is a joke and doesn’t even have a central authority capable of coordinating something like that. Also, it doesn’t matter what individuals want. Full stop. What has not been factored in yet is the student athlete's actual opinion about a having a season.
We've seen some glimpses and it's all over the board
With a season coming forward whatever that "opinion" is comes in like a tsunami...and the "powers" can only control it so far.
That's the final piece of the 2020 season puzzle. The B1G has satisfied the fans as far as they can...having a 10 game season among conference teams...leaving it up to each institution whether fans are actually in the seats. There would still be games under this scenario...and all the $$$ that could would come through.
You still need the young men to actually participate. I'm willing to bet there's wide disparity across all athletes on this point. The Power 5 can't let that go public. It's not their fault. The only answer is to defer the issue to later. Sucks but that's how things work.
I hope I'm wrong.
Will they pay dues ? Colleges should consider dropping scholarships. We will find out who wants to play and too study.I think the players will have a union when football returns. Finally. It’s so obviously needed.

Bet on what?? You’ve outlined no specific criteria for a bet.No bet? Maybe you already saw Fauci hedging his bets on vaccine availability into the second half of 2021. He straddles the political fence better than Dean Johnson. On to plan B.
From Bloomberg news today:
Even if the most optimistic projections hold true and a Covid-19 vaccine is cleared for U.S. use in November, the vast majority of Americans won’t be able to get the shots until spring or summer next year at the earliest.
That likely timeline, based on interviews and remarks from top specialists including Anthony Fauci of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, means businesses, schoolchildren and families will continue to wait.
In an interview, Fauci, who has also been involved with White House’s “Operation Warp Speed” vaccine program, said it may take until well into 2021 for vaccines to reach the much of the general public.
“I would hope that by the time we get well into the second half of 2021 that the companies will have delivered the hundreds of millions of doses they have promised,” said Fauci.
