TBD. I don’t see him sitting another year though. He’d be almost 24 when finishing his career.Since he's already transferred once in his career, does he still get the one-time exemption to transfer without sitting out a year, or because he was forced to sit, he would get that exemption? Kind of the opposite, potentially, of Robbins.
LolTotal rebuild for new coach. Any finish better than 13th in B10 will be a success.
I assumed transfer or draft/pro ball. If he plays college ball maybe he stays but I don't know why he would. think almost everyone thought he'd be gone when I made a poll but I can't find it now.Did anyone actually expect him back?
My question, too. My guess is he takes a pro option overseas or maybe a two way undrafted free agent. I don't bet but I highly doubt he's playing college ball next year.Since he's already transferred once in his career, does he still get the one-time exemption to transfer without sitting out a year, or because he was forced to sit, he would get that exemption? No. It’s just annoying he may transfer and not go play professionally somewhere else.Did anyone actually expect him back?
Don't count on it.No. It’s just annoying he may transfer and not go play professionally somewhere else.
So he'll be the average age of Wisconsin's starting lineup?TBD. I don’t see him sitting another year though. He’d be almost 24 when finishing his career.

You are kidding yourself if you believe this. He will be one of, the most highly sought after guards in the portal.Carr would have to change his game big time no Big Time school is bringing him in to jack up shots. A move laterally to another average to below average team makes no sense. He will go pro IMO
Thus he would be changing his game like I said. Thank you.You are kidding yourself if you believe this. He will be one of, the most highly sought after guards in the portal.
Just because he was a jacker here doesn't mean a strong coach can't reign him in.
If you're in the portal, you no longer have a lock on a scholarship so you're putting your college degree at risk. You can take your name out of the portal, but the school does not have to put you back on scholarship.Yeah I figured he was gone also. It’s really not a bad move even if a player is waiting to see who the new coach is. They can always take themselves out of the portal.
But I can’t imagine in the Gophers situation that they wouldn’t take him or Mashburn back.If you're in the portal, you no longer have a lock on a scholarship so you're putting your college degree at risk. Exactly. There is little risk to guys like Mash and Carr. They know they'll have a spot if they want it.But I can’t imagine in the Gophers situation that they wouldn’t take him or Mashburn back.
