Can we please put the Sampson vs. Iverson debate to rest?

Both Sampson and Iverson are an integral part of this team. Take either one away and the team suffers.
 

They're different players & can be used differently depending on the match up. No need to crap on one to compliment the other. Obviously Colt is more comfortable in a choppy game, elbowing people in the teeth & Ralph is more comfortable in a smoother game, where he can work his finesse stuff. It's great to have both to compliment one another & always have the right guy to go to no matter who we're playing.
btw, having 4 quality bigs on the same squad is a lot of fun.

Exactly - we're just lucky to have two bigs that bring such different things to the table - I'll take them both!!!
 

Without Colt tonight we lose this game and without Ralph on Friday, we lose that game. Debate is dead.

+2 thank you, yes. Colt may get more minutes vs Mich st; Ralph may get more vs OSU. What a pleasure to have two quality centers like that who can handle different situations.

Yep, yep. If one guy has an off night, we can just turn to the other guy to get it done. Its so nice to have depth in size, and so much fun to watch a team that can control the boards.
 

I noticed that none of the brainiacs on Page 1 of this thread have bothered to show their faces after these last 2 games! This team is LOADED up front and we need Trevor, Ralph, Colton AND Big Mo! Clearly we have some amateur basketball analysts on Page 1. Don;t quit your day jobs boys!
 




The debate can be put to rest. They are both good players and have games where one of them is not as effective and the other is. I would hate to play either of them.
 

I agree, no need to debate who is better, they both have their good and bad games. Im happy to have them both for another year, along with Mbawke and Devoe. Really gonna miss Hoff n Nolen.
