There were a whole lot of people that watched the Macalaster/Minnesota game last fall that wanted to sign him up instantly. He was the best player on the court that night. As a depth player at the guard position this is not bad.As one of the 10th-13th guys I'll take him. Play 5 minutes game, make two or three 3's before they figure out who you are.
As a contrast to the Cam Christie news, it land with a painful thud, I'm afraid.
In case you have missed it, there are lots of guys that move up from lower levels and have success in the D1 ranks.Laugh out fucking loud.

Yeah, seems unlikely that he is being brought in to start but remains to be seen what kind of role he plays and I am all for giving the kid a chance to show what he can do before going the ahole route and knocking the pickup. For those laughing at this think this kid is barely gonna play.. Arkansas was in on him too. I hear they have a pretty well respected coach who knows basketball talent down there.
From what I saw of Williams, he's going to exceed a lot of people's expectations. He can play. For those laughing at this think this kid is barely gonna play.. Arkansas was in on him too. I hear they have a pretty well respected coach who knows basketball talent down there.
I was one of them. I was half joking, but I will take this as a positive for sure. There were a whole lot of people that watched the Macalaster/Minnesota game last fall that wanted to sign him up instantly. Arkansas coach Eric Musselman and his staff are eyeing potential transfers early, reaching out to D3 standout Caleb Williams from Macalester College. For those laughing at this think this kid is barely gonna play.. His ball handling ability and quickness was excellent in the game against us. He is a 34% 3 point shooter but my guess- again based on the game I saw, he shot some really low percentage shots that he won't take here. He shoots 84% from the FT line. From what I saw of Williams, he's going to exceed a lot of people's expectations. He can play.
