Yes, legs (drumsticks) and thighs are dark meat. Wings and breasts are white meat. Of course when one orders wings many places you actually get a combo of wings and legs.

and...I don't know how anyone can think dark meat is superior to white meat. Have you never had a fried chicken breast? Yum.

Best wings in the Twin Cities can be found at the Wing Joint in Blaine.
It's my opinion wings should stand on their own without sauce......sauce on the side is acceptable. I treat wings just like a dry rub rib. I've been going here for over 20 years.

Q Fanatic in Champlin has some fantastic smoked wings (as well as unbelievable ribs, chicken, and brisket) and some spectacular homemade bbq sauces. My favorite is the espresso bbq. It sounds prissy, and I normally HATE bbq sauce, but once you taste it you know whoever made it knows what they are doing. Order ahead.

Stub's doesn't even have Nordeast. My friend and I were remarking that it might be the only place in Stadium Village without it, and B-Dubs clinched it.
