Unlike the NC game, Brosmer had little time and few open receivers. Have we discussed the phantom false starts yet.
You know the phantom false starts were BS when the group of referees is huddling about the call and asking each other if they saw anything. Max never moved his head or feet, simulating a snap. He is allowed to turn and use hand signals along with his voice. Clearly Iowa was offside both times and the Gophers didn't even flinch.Unlike the NC game, Brosmer had little time and few open receivers. Have we discussed the phantom false starts yet.
And it continues to age poorly. This has aged poorly.
No surprise it was started by a badger fanAnd it continues to age poorly.
Lol, good one. I’ve admitted more than once he’s been very good the last few weeks. No surprise it was started by a badger fan
Just giving you shit. I think we've all changed an opinion or two since the start of the season.Lol, good one. I’ve admitted more than once he’s been very good the last few weeks.
Does four straight conference wins mean Brosmer is literally a stud QB?We literally need a stud QB to get wins with this O-LINE.
Yes. You can call him whatever you want.Does four straight conference wins mean Brosmer is literally a stud QB?
Thanks for the permission. Very kind of you.Yes. You can call him whatever you want.
I'm here for you. Thanks for the permission. Very kind of you.
I can’t help but wonder what the heck was wrong with our game plan against UNC that Max looked so bad in that game. Clearly it is an outlier.
I do...this was one of your worst takes ever. But kudos to you for admitting you were wrong.Lol. Actually I’m not. I watch with my head not my heart.
You think he’s a stud?
I have proven to be wrong, and I fully admit that. Although I still say when I posted that he was not playing like a stud.. but there’s no denying he is a very very good quarterbackI do...this was one of your worst takes ever. But kudos to you for admitting you were wrong.
I wish we would have started Daniel's from game 1 and QC at RG instead of Lewis. He and QC had good synergy today on the RT side of the OL for a guys who's never played beforeThe O-line was very rough in that game. Penalties. Missed assignments. RBs getting hit in the backfield. Brosmer getting pressured constantly. The big men up front have been playing better the past few weeks.
If we run the table to 9 and 3, Brosmer is a stud. 6 and 6 or 7 and 5 isn't gonna do it. Then beat Alabama in a bowl game to go 10 and 3 and somebody could question whether he's a descendent of Secretariat. Not saying he's a stud a la Secretariat...

But he is pretty good by our standards....
And to build on that, it was Max's first game at this level and against a power 4 team while playing without Taylor. The O-line was very rough in that game. Penalties. Missed assignments. RBs getting hit in the backfield. Brosmer getting pressured constantly. The big men up front have been playing better the past few weeks.
Yes, he was. From the first snap it was clear that he was a huge upgrade over last year.I have proven to be wrong, and I fully admit that. Although I still say when I posted that he was not playing like a stud.. but there’s no denying he is a very very good quarterback
I’m still convinced it was just him being nervous and if we had played Nevada or Rhode Island first and UNC second or third we beat UNC handily.I can’t help but wonder what the heck was wrong with our game plan against UNC that Max looked so bad in that game. Clearly it is an outlier.
Brosmer’s deep ball was ugly today but overall a good game.
I'm not sure the deep ball for Brosmer has ever looked very good, consistently.Brosmer’s deep ball was ugly today but overall a good game.
For sure. But felt like he could have located the ball to the outside more a few times.Part of that was the DBs being allowed to play very physical. I'm thinking of throws to each of Jackson, Spencer and Brockington that would have been on the money if the receiver weren't pushed off track. Good defense if the refs are allowing it.
