clearly the bowl selection treated it as a 4 way tie not a 3 way tie amongst Purdue, Penn state, Minnesota, and wisconsin.

They can spin it however they want...and they will. But it's the same BS backroom bargaining about ticket sales it's always been, regardless of what the B1G says about their new and improved "placement process." PSU didn't earn this on the field. They were 7-5 and 4-5 in conference. Their best win was in week 1 against Wisconsin when Wisconsin was a mess. Their 2nd best win was against a 6-6 Auburn team. In all honesty, Purdue is probably the team that should be most pissed here. They beat both Iowa and MSU, both of whom beat PSU.
