I am sure there is a bench out there he can keep warm.4 games played in two years. Fourth different school in four years. Good luck with all that.
Anyone taking bets if he will ever see the floor again? What team will pay money to a guy who has functionally not played in two years?Sad, I had hopes of him being a solid contributor.
At HM? No way. Lots of other teams out there thoughAnyone taking bets if he will ever see the floor again? What team will pay money to a guy who has functionally not played in two years?
All the more reason to have stipulations on these NIL deals. Dude just collected a check for a whole year and did nothing. Will be 4 teams in 4 years (assuming he doesn’t medically retire). And that’s not unusual. What a world.
That money on his scholarship/NIL/rev share by the U was money well spent /s
What was your favorite Omot moment?
Granted it was my only Omot moment, it has to be the North Dakota Exhibition game where he looked extremely awkward and uncomfortable running. What was your favorite Omot moment?

BJ’s are usually in high demand!Anyone taking bets if he will ever see the floor again? What team will pay money to a guy who has functionally not played in two years?
I have no inside info or know what went down at Cal (I.e. was be pushed out)? But if I’m an immigrant family from Mankato, MN, I’m pushing him real hard to stay at Cal and get a degree from a very prestigious university instead of bounding around and accumulating credits from 4 different schools that may or may not transfer to an actual degree. My sister in law in Mankato knows the Omot family a bit. She says BJ is a good kid and comes from a hard working immigrant family. I don’t know all the details behind the scenes but I think sometimes these kids are getting bad advice from others around them. Too bad it didn’t work out here and hopefully he has better luck at the next stop.
Don't we have "hopes of being a solid contributor* for every Gopher athlete?Sad, I had hopes of him being a solid contributor.
What was the bad advice? Take the money and never look back? Rinse repeatMy sister in law in Mankato knows the Omot family a bit.
