Beyoncé returns to the global stage for Renaissance World Tour
Los Angeles, CA - Following the wildly successful release of BEYONCÉ's seventh studio album, RENAISSANCE, the global superstar has announced RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR today, her first solo tour in over six years. The North American leg of the tour is leveraging Ticketmaster's Verified Fan technology to ensure more tickets get into the hands of concertgoers. Fans can register now HERE. Ticketing will begin Monday, February 6, 2023, starting with an exclusive presale to BeyHive members.

The 2023 tour, produced by Parkwood Entertainment, and promoted by Live Nation, kicks off on May 10, 2023, at Friends Arena in Stockholm, SE, making stops throughout Europe in Cardiff, Edinburgh, Sunderland, Paris, London, Marseille, Amsterdam, Warsaw and more. The tour then continues across North America with shows in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Houston and more.

RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will also visit Brussels, Barcelona, Cologne, Frankfurt, Hamburg, and more in Europe in May and June. Additional North American cities include Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Kansas City, Louisville, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, St. Louis, Tampa, Vancouver and more.

As with previous tours, Beyoncé will make her mark offstage, too, with BeyGOOD, the initiative she founded in 2013 to support people and programs around the world. BeyGOOD will continue its legacy of philanthropy, building out this focus on economic equity by supporting organizations that serve marginalized and underserved communities with access to scholarships, opportunities for internships that lead to job placement, and resources to support entrepreneurship.

In various cities throughout the tour, BeyGOOD will support entrepreneurs through Black Parade Route luncheons, celebrating small business owners, with grant opportunities being awarded and a foray of services with global partners to promote business sustainability. One thousand small businesses will be supported with a commitment totaling one million dollars.

BeyGOOD will also support students through scholarship funds that will be given to colleges and universities in ten different cities along the tour. Each school will be given one hundred thousand dollars and will select the student recipients. BeyGOOD's total scholarship commitment during RENAISSANCE WORLD TOUR will be one million dollars.

Working with Beyoncé and the BeyGOOD Foundation, Citi and Verizon will purchase 100 tickets combined in each market across the U.S. touring leg for distribution to local community initiatives.

I saw U2 both at the Bank and Zygi Dome and had the benefit of having GA tickets. I was approximately the same distance both times from the stage. Even though I got soaking wet at the Bank, I enjoyed that show vastly more than the one across the Mississippi River. No brainer.

Having lived right next to the stadium at the time, my kid was super bummed when the Foo Fighters bailed on Huntington because of the Covid safety policy and moved the venue to US Bank. He was really looking forward to his first concert there, as were other U students.
But, as we know, the death of Taylor Hawkins made it all moot. Too bad, I would have tried to snag a ticket for that one too.

I was in the upper deck at TCF and on the floor for USBank, the TCF show was the greatest I've ever been to.

There was no comparison.

Beck was the opening act for the concert at U.S. Bank Stadium. Beck is one of my wife’s favorites. His act was half over before my wife even realized it was Beck. I’m sure it could vary with seat location but it was awful for us. The whole thing sounded like we were in a tin can. Never again.

At TCF, it rained and it was still light years better. One of my favorite all time concert experiences.

She's played there before, so I think that has a lot to do with it as well. About as good of an outdoor college stadium concert venue you could find with amenities, and with the open end and the sun setting behind the stage. Husky stadium in Washington and Colorado's stadium in Boulder would be others I would go see a concert.

I have never been to a concert at US Bank stadium, but I have seen a LOT of people posting about how the acoustics in that building are not good.

So if a performer wants the audience to have the best sound, Huntington may be a better choice than US Bank for a stadium show. Obviously, the indoor venue has the advantage in case of bad weather.

FWIW - the Metrodome also had notoriously muddy sound for concerts. I went to the Bob Dylan-Grateful Dead-Tom Petty concert at the Dome in '86 and the sound was gawd-awful. (for some reason, the Grateful Dead fans couldn't seem to hear the announcements about "no smoking" in the Metrodome.....)

Largest crowd at the Bank! U2 is like The Dead. Could tour every year and sell out all concerts. FooFighters have reached that status as well.
