After all that smack from ESPN about how dominant the SEC is in football, the B1G is now 4-1 vs the SEC with the only SEC win being Missouri barely squeaking by Iowa. The BIG also has two teams in the CFP semis, with the SEC only having one (with Texas having to go to overtime to advance).

Ohio State 42, Tennessee 17
USC 35, Texas A&M 31
Michigan 19, Alabama 13
Illinois 21, South Carolina 17
Iowa 24, Missouri 27

Also, kudos to the AAC for going 6-1. And, note that the Group of Five teams currently have a 6-3 advantage over Power Four teams

Plus one of the B1G playoff eliminations was at the hands of another B1G team.

And, I think in most (all?) of the B1G/SEC matchups, the SEC team had a better record or was ranked higher or was favored.

Bama -16.5 Michigan
S Carolina -9.5 Illinois

tOSU -7.5 Tennessee
Mizzou -1.5 Iowa
TAMU -3.5 USC

OSU was favored. Couple were coin flips but hammering Illinois with the points was a very easy call.

What an embarrassing display by the ACC. 2-10 so far with one win coming from a failed two point conversion. VT is their last chance for a win.

I think it’s kind of obvious that the SEC has better athletes than the Big Ten. It is also becoming apparent that the coaching in the Big Ten is superior, as are the Teams in the Big Ten.

I'm rather disappointed by all this Big 10 post season success.

As a Gopher fan I root for all of the other 17 to lose as quick as possible then hope their best players hit the Portal and transfer out of conference or declare for the NFL Draft.

To each their own...

Notre Dame most years is as bad or worse than the SEC....this year they are a little more tolerable but can't root for them to win it all so really hoping for PSU/OSU final.
The worst case scenario is an ohio state vs notre dame championship. It's like the devil and the antichrist meet to decide who reigns supreme.

I’ve pulled for B1G wins in non con and bowl games my whole life. It’s part of what makes bowl season fun for me.

I’d rather my favorite team play in the most powerful conference possible. If every game is lost and all the best players transfer out, the B1G becomes the MAC or Big Sky and I wouldn’t like that at all.

Like I said, to each their own.

The Billions of dollars the Big 10 gets from CBS, Fox, & NBC demonstrates to me they are already in the most powerful conference. The more air time each gets in the CFP puts the Gophers at a greater disadvantage.

Money would dry up in a hurry if the B1G became MAC II

The more air time the B1G gets, the more powerful and desirable it gets for top players for all the member institutions.

It gets more desirable for the top players to go to the institutions getting the majority and premier air time.

Holy cow...you just argued yourself into a corner.

SEC just means more ........... cheating, drugs, drag racing, skipping class, bag men, looking the other way, refs that are willing to impact outcomes of games and excuses.

B1G - just mean more ..... money, academics, player development and team play,
