Two comments: Huge hit by Devers! Grant looks pretty determine. I wonder if he was a borderline dirty player. Knew where the line was drawn but took advantage of what he could do. Not saying its a bad thing.

Haven't forgotten Troy Stoudermire where he was having a particularly tough day. Caught a long pass, and then poked fun at himself by standing up with both hands in the air. At the point the ref gave him a 15 yard penalty for celebrating or something I believe.

For years after his great sub game in 1973, our family gave "The Gil Fash Award" each game. It's when a sub comes in, makes just enough of an impact to win the game, but still looks pretty shaky doing it.

Yeah there were a few rumors that he suffered a significant injury in the spring. I just read a LB position preview and it talks about Sori-Marin being the leader, and a rotation of a bunch of young guys at the other LB spot. No mention of Oliver.

That sucks. I was on the Oliver Train as well. I thought he would break out this year. Hopefully next year he comes back strong.
